Aside from exclusives like Star Ocean and Halo:ODST nothing available on the 360 thats not on the PS3. Unless MS pulls something special out of its' ass in 2009 their exclusive software lineup is sorely lacking.

Come on Jenzo, a lot more was announced last year. We knew GOW2 was coming so it is not "same" like last year, that is BS.
People say MS will announce games durring E3, well so will SOny. Everything that is alread announced for 09 is either from 07 (Heavy Rain, Infamous) or from Early 08(Mag, Ratchet,etc).

Wait for E3, GDC, Liepzig, E3, etc. I'm sure they will have alot of surprises and announcements. Gears 2 wasn't announced till' GDC 2008, and that came out in 2008. Don't forget Peter Molynuex said he was announcing two more projects when he was interviewed on XPLAY to accept the GOTY award for Fable 2. People need to be patient and calm down, but that is too much to ask here at N4G.

yeah, so far not the best line up ever, and i'd go as far as to say that sony's is looking better. But the thing is with microsoft, they save up there big announcements until big events, and they have gone on record to say they wont announce titles until closer to release date. I remember thinking the same thing to myself last year, that 08 looked dismal, but that turned out ok all round.

I hope sony and microsoft have some good cards up there sleeves they have yet to play, as the past 2 years have seen some fantastic games

It might be worse than last year but it's still too early to draw any conclusions. Personally I'm mostly interested in multiplat games like Resident Evil 5, Skate 2, FF XIII, Fight Night Round 4, Brutal Legend, Deus Ex 3 and a ton of others.

Fortunately I will be treated the superior versions of multiplat games just like in 2008 (Prince of Persia, Dead Space, FarCry 2, COD WaW, Fifa 09, Bioshock, Pure etc.

bah, most games see shelves past mid september, and most of these aren't announced yet.
Think of the top developers, what games will they have ready by nov 09?
We don't know yet, notice that, besides the last 4 games on the list, all others are Q1 and Q2 with 80% being Q1.

@Jenzo you do realize most unannounced items for microsoft are either Xbox 720 things or casual games.

Kigmal you do realize teasing 2 games could mean they are only half way down, only one would come out next year if they are both full games

And how in the world did they get FFXIII on that list? It's not coming out until summer in Japan, so the earliest it will be on the xbox is mid next year

Every damn game matters, exclusive or multiplatform. It is the choices you have what really matters.

If you can play certain game in PC, 360 or PS3... you don't have to go and buy other expensive machine just to enjoy some title.

Though, in console war point of view, PS3 really needs all the exclusives it can get. That is obvious.

Saint Sony - I can play Left 4 Dead, Gears of War, soon Fable 2, and like probably in 1-2 years, Gears of War 2 on PC. Fact is, 360 doesn't have many console exclusives. PS3 already has great exclusives, new IP's and old, and will get even more next year.

I know everyone has the games they prefer but to say PS3 has no good exclusives is just a big plain lie. We can definitely say the Wii barely has any Great amazing games not from Nintendo, but not PS3. There's o many games ,exclusive and multiplatform I can't afford to buy them and spend all my time for them. The way I see 360, the games I only want that are exclusive there are: Gears, Fable, L4D, and Splinter Cell when it comes out. Ps3 has Uncharted, Metal Gear, Ratchet, Resistance, InFamous which looks amazing, and Killzone which looks promising. Also God of War is something I really wanted and nothing can match up to Grand Turismo. I can agree both consoles have amazing games but I just prefer the PS3's lineup, free online, and my friends who own it.

Can't people just be happy that games are coming out for their system?

Ps3 and 360 will have quality first party games coming in 2009. As for multiplatform, it will come down to what people feel is better.

For instance, a Ps3 game may have a significant graphical upgrade over a 360 game, but you may have to do a large install. Or a 360 game might play better than a Ps3 game, but graphics are sometimes choppy. Or a game might come out for 360 and PC, but to play it on PC, you have to upgrade your system.

It's all in personal choice! Buy the one that gives you what you want. If you want to act like a kid and argue over pointless stuff, you should have bought a Wii, instead of a Ps3 or 360!

Doesn't matter to me too much, cause I will be getting a Ps3 pretty soon, so I can be more versitile with my choices.

I don't think it would take Ubi that long to knock together a second serving of AC. The core tech is already in place which means most of the work is done already - all they need to do is create some new assets and give us some new missions.

It makes my wish list, I only hope they can sort out some of the repetative gameplay elements.

I don't see how Ninja Blade's Quick Time Event sequences are any better/worse than Heavy Rain's, but Heavy Rain is supposed to be "bad" according to some fanboys fro some reason.
