Valve is one of the best devs out there and they have ENOUGH money to decide whether or not tey wanna make a port or not and if the ps3 would require to many new programmers they most likely deny it.

Valve has a awesome team, maybe they dont want to "overfill" it and possibly desstroying the teams bond. ? who knows.

Valve is one of the best developers in gaming today. they consistently release AAA titles and support them well after release. other than Blizzard no other developer does that.

as for the ps3, Valve doesnt have the resources to support that platform at this time. get over it fanboys.

the pc version already has free mods for it which is pretty much DLC. maybe u were thinking of the 360 version only? one of the mods even lets u to play in dead air and death toll in versus

I think he was referring to offical dlc from valve not including mods. In any event I'm glad to see the game get support from valve on any scale. One can hope that they release the orange box dlc for the 360 around the same time as well. I have a pretty good source who says the dlc for orange box should be finishing up certification at msft 1st part of january. so that would be nice.

I have a PS3 and I have a PC with L4D.

I suggest for those who want to have the valve 'experience' to skip the xbox. Their hardware is already outdated and prone to RROD. *Most* popular xbox games are available on the PC including bioshock, gears of war, mass effect, and soon to be alan wake. You'll only be missing out on...eh...Halo. Plus, you'll have to pay for xbox online -- who wants to do that when you can get it free on the PC?

You can get an ATI 4850 for about 150 USD -- best bang for your buck; and you can run the latest games without any slow down (with the exception of GTA4 -- but that POS is unoptimized anyway).
