we get more info on this game than we do about FF13 , which has been in development way much longer...lol

looking forward to this game hope it's better than SO3...

and looking forward to hearing that the PS3 will indeed be getting a version later down the road..XD

I think that it's clear that the Xbox 360 has the best line-up of JRPG games **by-far** this generation.

Start Ocean 4 is just another in a long line of excellent JRPG games.

looks serious. I do hope it does come out for the ps3. I can see myself getting lost in a world like that. It really appeals to my sci fi anime side. I hope its good because despite my qualms over SE's practices of late they need a hit in terms of both quality and sales. I for one would NOT like to see them die off

I loved SO3, if the SO4 on X360 doesn't have technical issues (like frame rate slowdown) then its gonna rock.

Unlikely the last hope will be hugely more popular for being a well known IP alone. regardless of game quality which although am still buying it White knight is abit buggy at the moment. Not to mention the battle system in Star Ocean and White Knight being worlds apart. White Knights battle style will be like standing still compared to Star Oceans.

Disagree all you like unless you have played Star Ocean 3 for the PS2 you have no comprehension of what am talking about and your being an out and out Sony Nancy. Don't get me wrong am going to enjoy White Knight chronicles but Star Ocean 4 will make it look like a snail.

O shush you dirty little Sony homo Square-Enix's Final Fantasy 13 versus and Sega's Valkryia Chronicles is the only reason I bought a PS3. Although I have to say I love diseaga 3.

Infinite undiscovery also which is a sort of little bother to Star Ocean 4 but with no content and a broken battle system. And the most terrible game name but Square just released it as a quick money boost it wasn't supposed to be good. And although the Sony Defence Force so often loves to forget this The Last remnant is multi platform.

It was just released to early sadly but if you take the time to play it its an enjoyable game.

Same here I would rather have it on a Sony Platform just because of only having 1 disc and the last releases being Sony. But I will get it for the 360 anyway just because I love Star Ocean so much.

i did play Star Ocean 3 and I like the battle system but I had a problem with the confusing story and I like any of Level 5 games over Tri-Ace game

Yeah because Level 5 games are known for there "story" that's the worst part about them. I love level 5 games to but don't go kid yourself the Story just blows on Rogue Galaxy far more then Star Ocean 3 that had the weakest story in the Star Ocean series.

this game looks sooo generic and cheap,
like all those 360 S-E and Mistwalker jrpgs.
Level5's PS3 game is no better, at least it's built around an MMO gameplay mechanic, so it might be A BIT refreshing, maybe...
As for the jrpg we are all waiting for - FF13 - judging from the recent trailer and gameplay scans - it's shaping up to be the pinnacle of that generic-jrpg-ness

Level 5 does not have the greatest stories but at least they are easy to follow and Star Ocean 3 was not and I have not played the first two Star Oceans but I will get them for PSP and all I am saying is Level 5 has a better track record then Tri-Ace. My favorite Tri-Ace game is Radiata Stories which was great

your a idiot, if you think those look like ps2 games, i just bought a ps2 for the rpgs, since neither the 360 or ps3 have any console selling ones out. and i have to say, KH2, and FF12, the 2 best looking RPGS are weak compaired to even phantasy star univers on the 360, which looks like crap compaired to this. just cause your pissed its not going to the ps3. dont come over hear bashing it.

Nai, that's your opinion! And, at the best stupid and pathetic one too. I have no intention for bashing this game just because its faultbox360 exclusive(Time-exclusive actually) I can bet you on that. But you probably miss the point here because you ditch what I wrote! Where I was referring to the "new screenshots" looking like PS2 games then here you're posting all the nonsense BullShot of SO4! Furthermore you even pick the worst FF series for comparison(I love KH2 so I'd put that aside).

Why don't you be man or whatever species you are and bring out a masterpiece that truly show whats the PlayStation2 is capable of?

i went out and bought a ps2, and a whole lot of RPGS that i missed cause i sold it, and i have to say, i played SO3 when it came out... and that was along time ago, so i was expecting when i played it to suck, and im still loving it, so after they said SO4 will play like 3, im going to love it as well. any haters who dont like that fine, but keep in mind, you hate it cause its a 360 title, your loosing one great game.
