1 - Its only a resolution <_<
May I remind everyone that 1080p is only a resolution and there is hardly that much difference from 720p to 1080p.

Yeh, I'm more excited about the online multiplayer (but well, that has become a standard also in games nowadays)

Hahaha
This is too funny to be true. Didn't we hear the Sony fanboys cry out that their Virtua Tennis would be in 1080p (which almost no-one uses, but well), now the 360 get's it in 1080p also.
Very funny is also that a reviewer from a TV game show went to Sega's headquarters in if I remember it right, France. He watched the 360 and the PS3 version. The 360 version looked sharper, more colourfull, better physics, better framerate...
PLUS, very important, the PS3 version has NO online part. Nothing. Zero. The 360 version has an extended online part:
"Players can take part in Ranked or Friendly modes, and enter Exhibition games or Tournaments in both singles and doubles matches across the Live network. The all new VT:TV real-time spectator mode allows players to view their friends or other top-ranked players compete in tournaments, adding an all new strategy in sizing up the next opponent."
Over and over again, the 360 get's the best multiplatform versions. Why is it Sony fanboys. Why? COD3 you say it's a port (is it? These days games are made on PC's and made optimal for each seperate console), FNR3 and now Virtua Tennis. A game that is made by seperate teams, so no excuse possible anymore guys... 360 just get's the best versions, in graphics, in online capabilities. It's true, but when will they learn?

It's not like they start making this game on devkits or PC's emulating the PS3 for a long, long time already.
Doesn't matter if it's out 2, 3 or 4 months. It should have been out spring 2006. They had enough time. The PS3 just can't deliver, it's clear as water.
And the online service of the PS3 is a laugh also. Free right. Yeah it's free but the games don't support it because it's worth nothing. ANd that's why all 360 games have online support and the PS3 has less or no support in games. Which is lame this gen

6 - This is what resolution means to me...
1080p on a 55+ inch TV looks the same as 720p on a 30+ inch one. Unlike most guys, I don't need to engage in an electronic d!k measuring contest. What real reason does someone have to buy those huge TVs anyway? Yes, it would be nice, but why would I want to spend thousands of dollars on a tv that does nothing but show me a prettier version of the same boring, crappy TV shows, movies and games? I don't want to see more details of a crap movie, show or game. There are some good ones (LoPla, GoWar, MisImp III, PotC 2, Dexter, maybe Rome) but that is not nearly enough to justify the prices for me to be able to do so. $999.99 for Blu-Ray ($499.99 - $599.99 for ps3) or $499.99 - $699.99 for HD-DVD ($199.99 for 360 HD-DVD add-on which works with pc, $699.99 HD-DVD model has 1080p), $1500+ for a good HDTV with no major flaws? I DON'T THINK SO. Fvk u if you think I'm going to spend or if I'm going to make ANYONE in my family spend that kind of money. The other (7?) planets would have to align and send a giant wave of supernatural energy and light crashing into the seas, waking Leviathan, the protector of Atlantis (which exists) who would then have to burrow under Jamaica, shake it into the sea and threaten me to purchase ANY form of HDTV and/or other device at the current price.
Hope the game is good, though.

6.2 - I agree completely
It's sad that some people seem more into showing off their tech (materialism) than they are into playing good games. To me the perfect set up for next gen gaming is a "32 lcd tv (not that I can afford one at the moment though). Playing on huge tv's and projectors makes me tired quickly. It's hard to have a relaxing gametime with cranked up surround sound coming from all directions and a freaking cinema screen in your face (I know since my friend has a setup that would make most gadgetgeeks cry tears of blood & envy).

I agree with you Jenzo, I was going to get a 50" DLP but got a 32" LCD samsung and I am happy, it's big enough for everyone to watch the superbowl on it, but it's fantastic for gaming as well. It's never overpowering in it's size

Man was that some real PR bull $#IT. No new info what-so-ever. What I want to know if they got rid of those ridiculously long wait/load times.
PS. 1080P looks too bright for my eyes. Im good with 720P.

8 - I don't give
a crap about 1080p for either the 360 or the PS3. No of my HD Tv's support and I have no intension of buying one that will. I am really interested at all the apparent online options that Sega is throwing into Virtua Tennis 3. I hope this can be better than Top Spin 2, though I did still enjoy Top Spin. Who are the pro's signed up for this game?

This game is easy to do in 1080p because it has only two moving characters on screen.
I said it when they announced 1080p for the PS3, but it's the same for the 360.
The sweet point will be 720p. Who is using 1080p anyways?
What I find interesting though, another game with NO, I repeat, NO online features for the PS3, while the 360 has extended online features.
You see Sony fanboys. That's the difference between a premium XBL network and a cheapass free sh!tty Sony network. That's something one is willing to pay for, to have games that actually have stuff to go online with.
You'll be missing out again and again and over and over again. Tony Hawk another one, there you go. Which games will follow? UT3 will have PC/360 connected probably. PS3 missing out again. It ain't fun anymore, isn't it Sony fans?

What Will Be Next Sega Rally 3 Online For Xbox360 But Not For Ps3. I Feel Sory For ps3 Fans Coz While Well All Be Playing The Same Games As Them Online They Will Be Playing The Single Player Mode With No Online And All They Have To Defend There System Is It Has BluRay With More Space On A Disc. Now To Be Hones If I Had To Choose Between More Space Or A Better Online Service Id Choose Online Coz More Space Dont Make A Game More fun But A Great Online Service Shure As Hell Does!
