"Friday will see Saints Row 2 going down to £19.98"
Play.com already have it for both 360 & PS3 at £17.99!

Fallout 3 is one of the best games this generation, hands down. (Notice I didn't say THE best, there are too many to choose from)

its too flawed to be the anywhere near the best game this gen.

i put 15 hours into it and the main quest messed up so i had to start again.

i got to level 3 and got bored.

Oh, please, ConsoleMaster people.

"...Gamestation are continuing there sale's..."

How about using correct English?

"...Gamestation are continuing their sales..."

Interesting article though. Fallout 3 at £20? It's still £37 on their web site. I'll wander down there at lunch time to check though.

Games are really, really cheap this crhsitmas. They were all over £30 last year and now under £25 this year. At least some good has come out of the credit crunch before we're all taxed to hell next year.

11 - I seriously doubt this is true
Last time I checked COD4 it retailed for £45... never mind a game that was released 3 weeks ago. On the other hand who would have thought VAT would be reduced.

My tuppence on Fallout 3: It starts off really promising but I found that the map system wasn’t as accurate as I would have liked and this left the game feeling a little too loose for my liking.

For instance, you will find yourself wandering into areas that you aren’t supposed to discover until later, areas that have really powerful enemies and you will have a daft wee hunting rifle. So you’ll get blown to smithereens at a few seconds notice. But these areas are available to you so you think you have to beat them to progress when in actual fact you are going completely the wrong way.

Basically finding your way in the game is too trial and error. I racked up 12 hours and didn’t really feel I made 12 hours worth of progress with it.

All this is fine if you have time to burn.

I eventually traded it in for Resistance 2 on Saturday. I just don’t have time for that kind of game - especially just now there are too many other games that need attention right now!!

I saw Fable 2 in Gamestation at 19.99 on Sunday, but my educated guess is that it was for limited time only and each week they change which game is in the sale, this week being Fallout3.

@greedo1980 I bought Call Of Duty 4 last year in the build up to christmas in a similar sale, it was either 19.99 or 24.99 I can't remember now, but they did exactly the same thing last year, changing which game was in the sale each week in the build up to christmas. So I would not be surprised to See COD 5 in the sale in the up coming weeks.
