LEGO Batman: The Video Game Wins Children's BAFTA Award for Best Videogame 2008

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are pleased to announce that LEGO Batman: The Videogame has won a prestigious Children's BAFTA Award for Best Videogame 2008.

Developer TT Games was snapped up by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in 2007 and has since had a hugely successful 2008 seeing the release of LEGO Indiana Jones and LEGO Batman: The Videogame.

I love these games. Sure, they're really easy but they have two major things going for them:

1. Offline coop mode (with drop in / drop out)
2. Decent replayability

Why when I want to play multiplayer games these days do I have to go online? Why can't I play the damn thing with my mates in one room like the good old N64 Mario Kart days?

The humour's not too bad either...
