Well maybe not.. haha.. I've never been a real big fan of the Madden games because of the complexity in controls. Every type of player has a different control scheme and take a lot of time to learn. But now, I might need to pick it up.. It has been 8 years since I last picked a football game up.

You might want to try out the 2k sports game ALL-Pro football. It is something different... too bad the game was awful.

The game is really only as complicated as you let it be and can be really simple.

Madden is one of those games that has a learning curve that gets sharper every year.

That's what I thought too, and it's the reason I never bought the game. However, if you play on the intermediate level, I was up and winning games in no time at all.

A to hike, ls to step back, and then pick your receiver and let it fly. The receivers all have their corresponding button underneath them, so you don't have to guess how to get the ball to them.

It's the defense that I'm still a little confused on. Not really sure how to really get my player involved. If I'm a linebacker, it's tough to reach the QB. If you play safety, then you have no idea who is going to be thrown to.
