Fable 2 - big announcement today?

A Fable 2 announcement was due last week but was canned and rescheduled for Monday 24th November. Well that's today, what could this be? Downloadable content, patch or something else entirely? Msxbox-world has received confirmation from Lionhead that the announcement will arrive today.

Quote Lionhead "Fable II downloadable content, available exclusively on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points, gamers will be invited to set sail for Knothole Island, where new quests, wondrous items and bizarre characters await.

Also in mid-December, fans everywhere will be able to enhance their Fable II experience with the release of a free Fable II downloadable pack exclusively on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. To engage in co-op gameplay with a player who has already downloaded the Knothole Island content, gamers will need to download the free pack. Both co-op players must download the Knothole Island (Premium) pack in order to play new quests and enjoy the complete Knothole Island co-op experience."

They're taking ages. Just tell us what it is already. I'll be happy if it's loads of side quests cos at the moment there's nothing really left to do...The game was sweet but needs more content

The only news I could possible get excited for is if they announce that Fable II was just an original Xbox title never released that was ported and an actual fun, challenging and good looking fable title is coming out next week.

On topic, I'm crossing my fingers for some more side quests. Like pretty much everyone else has said already, it was a great game, just too short.

yea i did the same thing last weekend before the first report of the update. T_T i just got bored of the game, if this turns out to be major news then ill get it again, but if not i more then likely won't play it again.

While I certainly wouldn't call it "last-gen", I would agree that, despite being a fairly new title, Fable II already looks "dated".

Regarding TheSadTruth, I don't really see how it's any of our responsibility to herd trolls to the Open Zone. People just end up sounding pretentious (see 1.4). We have mods for a reason, and if you feel that they aren't doing their jobs, then take it up with N4G. Easier still, there's a report button.
