killzone, infamous, god of war 3, final fantasy 13, new ratchet and clank game, heavy rain, resident evil 5 are games i'm interested in.

out of them the ones i'll probably get are the new ratchet game, infamous (if it turns out good, which I'm sure it will) and final fantasy 13!

I can only get about 3 games per year cos I can't afford anything more =D

Microsoft sure hasn't said much about their 2009 lineup, but I already know that 2009 for the PS3 is going to be off the charts.

At E3 next year or at Sony's Playstation Day next year, I would like for Sony to at least confirm God of War 3's release date. I'm pretty sure the only reason why GOW3 wasn't on this list is because it hasn't been "officially confirmed" from Sony for 2009, but if it was, GOW3 would easily be in the Top 5.

Even if God of War 3 doesn't come out December 2009 like the Rumors/Sources have pointed too, it will probably come out March 2010 just a few months later because every GOW game has come out in March. But even if GOW 3 comes out March 2010, it wont be that bad because it will be just a few months away from the speculated Dec. 2009 release.

And I can't forget about Uncharted 2 either. Even though it hasn't been confirmed for 2009, it would be awesome if it came out late next year. Naughty Dog is a small team, so I'm not sure how fast they could pull of an Uncharted sequel, but I hope that they finish it in 2 years just in time for a Fall 2009 release.

ND is more than enough capable of making a new uncharted game in 2 years,
What Naughty Dog did in the two years creating original Uncharted is simply mind blowing.
They started from nothing, a blank sheet,from scratch, no code or anything remained from the previous games,heck even for putting a simple text on the screen they needed to write some code first, They shifted over from their custom language to C++ too have the code be sharable with other Sony's teams.

They made the gigantic leap of moving from PS2 graphics ,where shading techniques almost didn't exist,they were making the game and learning about new technology(to them)such as shaders at the same time.meanwhile half of the world was so busy b!tching about PS3 is so hard to develop for.

They started from scratch,2 years later,they made Uncharted.now that they have an up and running engine they can easily make u2 in 2 years

The teaser in the God of War Chains of Olympus instruction manual said 2009, and I believe it.

i agree killzone should be the hands down most anticipated game for 09, but this article didnt really list them in order of which they were excited about, to be fair. however, i think they should have made a bigger deal about killzone, its THE game that everyone cant stop talking about.

Next year to me just the first six months should be amazing with SF4, Killzone and RE5 so the rest is just a bonus and if GOW3 comes out next year I may call it one of the best years in gaming for the hardcore audience.
