I'll still sent this from gamefly because I am a MK fanatic but this still really irritates me. These "fatalities" look like every other move except for the stupid arcade dropping on someone. Their isn't even any blood, wtf, come on Midway? What is this looney tunes? Might as well just wrote ACME on the side.

Why not just use the Baraka fatality from mk2? He just stabs you through the chest and you slide down. I have no problem with Batman's finishing move.

I've honestly seen better fatalities for the Origanal Mortal Kombat for the SNES.

Then again, how would you feel if you were told, "Listen, you know these hero's we've grown up with. Yeah the ones that you look up to that save the day, that fight for good against evil. Yeah, we need you to make them kill people."

13.1 - Mixing DC with MK...
... was a bad idea to begin with, especially when they announced that it would be rated "T". MK without violence is just like Halo without guns, Metal Gear without sneaking or Mario without Bowser.

Could go on like this for hours.

I think this game will be pretty good. The Joker fatality will be the best!! I live in Canada, but I pre-ordered it from the UK so I can see all the goodies!!!

I like the different concepts they added to the series. Fighting while falling and the close up combat where it zooms in. I also like how your clothing rips and cuts appear on your body.

I am looking forward to it. There is also the same amount of blood as the other series while fighting.

If your talking the Joker fatality with the gun that was posted a long time ago, I'm pretty sure it got cut.

edit: yes it got censored for North America, only Europe gets the full fatality where he shoots the guy in the head. In the NA release he walks off screen before getting shot, ala so we don't see it.

I am impressed with certain aspects of this game but alot of aspects in this game are a complete failure in my opinion. Example: Lack of blood when killing/not killing DC characters!

I don't see why Midway got all gung-ho about a "T" rating for this game. Where's the over-the-top blood and fatalities?

I think you'll find them in the last MK game, you'll also find Midway's balls there too. This game reminds me of one of those knock-off bloody fighting games that came out a long time ago and TRIED to be Mortal Kombat, like War Gods or Bio-Freaks or something.

I agree with The Captain... Looks really good! I grew up with the series this will be a nice change of pace. There is still blood and gore! Get the UK version.

The next MK will be back to basics. Have an open mind and wait till you try it.

I believe your right every character has 2 fatalitys all the MK s characters and evil DC have the ones that seem to look like a kill and the DC good guys have a fatality that doesn't kill just knocks them out but let not forget this is a Teen rated game that's why it looks so lame they don't want the DC good guys to be able to kill anyone because its not what they do and I think DC comics themselves had something to do with the violence in the game as well to get the DC characters in the game.
