Thank you for the effort and intelligence to work out to bring back the bots to both online and offline multiplayer with Gears of War 2.

Since Perfect Dark Zero bots have gone missing this generation on the 360, with only Live Arcade titles like the simple but enjoyable Age of Booty integrating AI as opponents into games.

The focus this generation has been squarely on finding Live online 'community' members in lobbies or on friend's lists to play against in multiplayer and owning Gold Live membership."

I soooo agree. The bots are fantastic. I can't believe more games haven't bothered. Timesplitters was so great because of them and PD0 multi only survived because of them!

The AI in this game is so amazing, the best I ever seen. Horde mode enemies are very smart. I can't get enough of Horde mode! :D Already beat it on Pavalion, now trying to beat it on River.

It's so true, bots can be really fun, plus they allow for a build up process in skill before you decide to take it online.

Not all of us have multiple X's in our gamertags or the time to dominate online by spending every waking hour vs. foul mouthed pre-pubescent jerks on live.

I love the bots, I never played the first gears online but LOVED the single player. Most multiplayer games either peter out after 6 months of release or get SO competitive that only the hardest of the hardcore can play. With the bots it really doesn't matter when you buy the game or when you are able to play, the bots don't sleep or cuss you out in voices that haven't even changed yet.

Cheers to Epic. Here is to hoping that Halo, Rainbow Six, GRAW, COD and all the other great online games offer some great bot support with their next entries in their series!

Ah bots... I miss the days of Perfect Dark 64, where you could just add bots to fill in the gaps in your game. Ever since I left home, my friends have put a Dark Bot in my place, saying that guy is easier than I was. *tear* Memories...

If they get snipe the match is basically over. They have some pretty insane accuracy. It's basically auto head shots.

10 - Lol, the bots are crazy.
They have some pretty amazing accuracy in Gears 2.

Looks like Epic is taking elements from UT3 and adding them into Gears 2. Bots work pretty good on both games but it's unfortunate other games don't support them.
