1 - I played it around my friends house last night on his 360 b4 the Boxin started

And ill hav to say i quite liked it,

I couldnt believe how violent it was - suits me just fine

And online was ok but i think the reason a didnt like it as much was because i had a rip on the Killzone 2 beta for a while b4, COD5 hasnt left much of an impact on me as K2 did - but its not out 4 another 3 or so months so Cod5 will hav to do

Oh the single player campaign is brilliant as u would expect

If its like cod 4 than its great because there are more stuff in this game that infinity ward promised that didn't do aka co-op. In this one you got the nazi zombie, vehicles, flame thrower,destructible enviorments, and other stuff should make it fun.

Well, CoD: WaW being a mod of one of the best FPS games of all time is a fantastic thing and I can't wait to play it.

Having Infinity Ward and Treyarch trying to one up eachother every other game might be the best thing for the Call of Duty franchise.

I won't play a yearly franchise on multiple consoles, I think it divides the community of what it could have been , resistance 2 and lbp are gonna keep me occupied for the months to come till Killzone 2 comes out. the first killzone had a strong online community years 5 after its release and prolly won't see it sequal for a long time. as good as call of duty is , I hope it doesn't go the way of the tony hawk series of yearly installments

i don't know what you would really expect from them i mean cod:4 was on some legendary shizzle why would they change the game the whole damn thing was cut out for them its good shut up and play it and enjoy it the maps i have played and the little changes they made to the game are a fun twist for a ww2 game so just buy it when it comes out and play the balls out of it

i really like the beta..its so much fun,but there's only one thing that bugs me...i think cod4 has better graphics than cod5,not because its ww2 and cod4 is modern warfare...but look at the texture on cod5,they are just ugly, REALLY ugly.....but hey,thats my only negative point about cod5!

well it really looks like a cod4 world war 2 mod. i havent played it yet, but im going to borrow my friend's copy of it and see how it plays. im not about to give away 60 bucks for what likes a cod4 mod. ill buy it when its about 40 bucks.

I think it's good and they added some cool features but I already have 100's of hours in CoD4 so it falls a little flat for me.

Honestly i thin infinity ward saved the call od duty franchise. Everyother Cod franchise before cod4 i found sucked. I would not mind seeing them add extra maps to Cod4, they do get kinda old but i still love the game. As for COD5 it is a rental there was nothing that made me drop my jaw for this game. Till then I still have COD 4 Gears of War 2, Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 whenever it comes out. And if anything I will dust off Unreal Tournament 3 for the PS3 and play that to.

Better then CoD2/3. Flamethrower and "destructible" enviroment aside the one thing that got me is the 4 player coop. But it doesn't really have anything unique to add to the WWII shooters.

Brothers in Arms Hells Highway is the tactical WWII.
MoH: Airbourne is just that.. Airbourne. Fun parashooting in and having a open city/map to conquer.

In the end though it's just WWII again.. Same old Thomson machinegun & M1 Garand.. They have some jap weapons but they are just the other ones with a new skin. One single-shot bolt action rifle. One semi-auto.. Etc.

Trouding through Stalingrad one more time is just kinda booring.

I'll stick with cod4 if I feel the itch. The game isn't bad, but those attack dogs are even more annoying than the hellicopter. At least with the hellicopter you can hide from it, but the dogs just keep coming at you no matter where you are.

has anybody here played the demo?
I thought it was friggin great.
Graphics nice.
Game has a new maps, modes, weapons.
AND it's just like COD4.
So what if too much hasn't changed.
game is worth it.
My favorite thing about it was definitely the use of dogs.

the game feels and plays very much like cod4. the only difference i see is gfx are a lil better, and u take less buttes to die(not hardcore mode) oh and the dogs are awesome waaaay better than a chopper.

1 - I have the feeling this story wont be approved...

First this is a X360 related story and if by any means CoD4 WaW fails, the Xbox owners will start to think why they pay 100 dollars to play CoD4 Modern Warfare online because the game costs 60 dollars and LIVE costs another 50 dollars. They have to justify why they pay 50 dollars for online.
Thats the reason why online games sell better in the X360. If you pay for an online service you feel obligated to use it. Imagine paying for LIVE and only play Lost Odissey or Fable 2 (dont get me started on the Co Op for Fable, it sucks and its full of glitches). About Fable, the Co-Op proves what Im saying, they had to implement that feature in a game where Co-Op doesnt make any sense!
This all is related to the topic, this game is actually a mod for CoD4 MW! Its a good game but honestly, should we pay its full price?! Why not releasing it as an expansion?! Its all there is!

Does that mean that World of Warcraft costs $200? $50 for the game and $150 for the subscription for a year?
