Xbox Live Marketplace Update: Thursday 6th November 2008

Console Monster writes: "The big releases are definitely coming and this is shown throughout today's Xbox Live Marketplace update. With Gears of War 2 releasing tomorrow (or some lucky people have it today, including me!), a 'Welcome to Gears of War 2' trailer is now available. There's also Left 4 Dead and Call of Duty: World at War trailers; Vigilante 8 Theme packs and Guitar Hero: World Tour songs. The 'Bond' single looks interesting. Here is the full Xbox Live Marketplace update for Thursday 6th November 2008:

Well yeah, i'm not against demos and usually encourage that devs make them. I usually play most of them if I have the slightest interest in the game, however, this particular sonic game looks like it may just kill the series off entirely :\

Kill the series off entirely? Are you nuts?

Daylight (Normal Sonic) stages (3D to 2D) are 60% of the game.
Nighttime (Werewolf Sonic) stages are 40% of the game.

It's not like the whole game is just the Werehog.

I'm aware the game is not 100% warehog, otherwise it would probably not even be labeled as a Sonic game...
The "Sonic" series as a whole has just gotten so far away from its roots and I think a LOT of people have lost interest in the series already, and this game will probably just extend that even further.

RIP SONIC - you were better as a sprite-based character

Codes for the demo can be obtained from certain retailers for use now and the demo will be available to all Xbox Live Gold members from Tuesday 11th November.
