Schappert: Xbox LIVE is a Great Way to Market Smaller Budget Games

Ripten: "In a new interview with, Xbox LIVE boss, John Schappert, tells us that Xbox LIVE offers a way to get games out in front of consumers that would have a difficult time doing so via the traditional retail channels."

Because PS3 owners asked him to bring it to the PS3 smart guy. On his own blog people said if he brought it to the ps3 they would buy it because they did not have a 360. Its only good business to bring your game to the biggest market you can. Basic economics, do some research.

2.1 - Dude xbox 360 and xbox live can not handle R2

Xbox live can barely handle 10 players in Gears 2 let alone the 60 plsyers without lag in R2..plus r2 is ob a 50 gb bluray with over 15 hours for the single player campain....60 hours for the 8 player online co-op without lag...

They market things by making you pay for a service then putting adds on top of it... 'helping' small devs. out by having them pay M$ to advertise on their front dashboard. Team up With Big M$ to screw customers over - what an opportunity.
