Best Buy to Open at Midnight for Gears of War 2 Launch

"I was on the Best Buy Canada website today and came across their Gears of War 2 page that is advertising all Best Buy stores across Canada (Quebec excluded) will be open at midnight for the launch of the game."

don't you have 24hr supermarkets or stores in America/Canada?

In the uk you can get games at midnight in most places.
If you get it from tesco's or asda it's cheaper than from game or gamestation.

Resistance and gears were coming out with a 4 day difference? Not sure but that was the release difference a week or so back.

According to Gamefly, Gears of War comes out the 7th and Resistance 2 comes out on the 4th. At least in North America. Did the developers change the date again?

It's actually not that common in Canada for stores to open up at midnight. The only games this year that this happen for was GTA IV and Metal Gear Solid 4. Usually when there is a midnight launch it's a huge event.

A number of BB stores will be open at midnight for Guitar Hero: World Tour, Resistance 2, Gears 2, and WoW: Wrath of the Lich King.
