Lionhead Working on Fable 2 Glitches

Lionhead states that its will put forth its best effort to respond to issues:
"Some things slip through the net during development, especially when a game is the size and scope of Fable II," the studio explained. "Again, we can only apologize for this issue, but we are doing our best."

slipped thru the net?! lmao they were OBVIOUS! and all those stupid problems were on 1 version of the game they are working on 1 version the game is not multi! with all of this crap...really ruined my gameplay

Were talking several game stopping glitches just not acceptable imo.
Bad nough when its just annoying but game breaking glitches are like selling me a brand new car that goes boom after a 100 miles...
This is why i dont buy launch titles on any platform and its like 99% of the reviewers dont even play the games since they never mention em.
So glad I didnt buy SOCOM on launch either but not like they havng got me a few times already sigh is a working product so much 2 ask 4?

1.4 - Glitches
I personally wouldn't mind if these glitches popped up for just 1 or 2 gamers only, but there are thousands of people out there who are experiencing these problems, so it's got to be obvious to the developers that they are there.
The problem is that everyone has been so accepting of updates to games that have had slight little problems, that developers think it is ok to just update later, and over time the glitches have gotten badder and badder that they are making the game unplayable.
Ohh.. and I hope they fix the sucky Co-op. It's definatly not what Peter M showed us at E3!

I went to jump over a fence and stoped miway now I'm stuck in mid jump pose for the last 4 hrs of game play I look like jeusus on the cross with out the cross its getting annoying any one else experience this ????

5 - There was glitch that made me start the game over.
It happened when I was just about to accept an assassination job. The moment I was going to accept, the employer disappeared. Due to the job dead line. So nothing wrong there. However, after that happened, my character became VERY slow, permanently. Expressions, actions, walking, running, etc. And he was no longer able to defend/attack. I couldn't take out the sword, gun, nothing.
What pissed me off is this happened in the middle of my mission to get the Hero of skill. So I had some hours in. :/

I'm just wondering what happen to the arcade owners. The ones who are unaware of all this. With all these glitches, I'm not sure how many patches an arcade model can hold.

I was 4/5s the way through after 8 hours and I tried to save this guy named charlie but i didnt finish his conversation and now i cant press A. Game autosaves and theres only one save slot for your character. GAME ENDING GLITCH! RETURNED BACK TO GAMEFLY immediately :P

Why aren't these glitches reflected on the review scores? I would think that it would be the imperative of the reviewers to let potential buyers know everything about a game including glitches and have the score reflect accordingly. Why is it that Socom can be given sixes for sever side problems but Fable is given a pass, and what about those owners with arcades do they just have to live with the glitches?

From the sounds of it, SOCOM's problems are show-stoppers (i.e. major connection issues in an online game). However, as the dude from Lionhead says, a minority of people have suffered issues with Fable 2. I'm not part of that minority, and I'm on my second run through - so go figure.

I can't stand the little b1tch girls who are already whinning, c'mon, just let Lionhead know and they will fix, but give them more then a day's time to fix, I'm sure they wanna release a patch that takes care of all issues that there aware of and not just one whiners problem. Grow Up a Little.

Not a net. I can understand some glitches and the really rare ones. But these are thousands of people encountering the same glitches, in the same spots. Over and over I might add.
Many of them are OBVIOUS and would only take 3-4 playthroughs to find out, and that's without intentionally trying to break it. Which testers are paid for by the way...
I'm really upset due to the fact that a really FANTASTIC game is ruined by poor testing.

I am glad that they are stepping up to fix them. Problem is, they shouldn't be trying to cover themselves saying that they "missed a few that went through the net."
This isn't a net, this is a giant gaping hole.
These glitches and errors are pretty obvious. I found around 5 of them on just 2 playthroughs. And I was playing the game extremely slow, due to the fact that I like to encounter EVERYTHING an RPG has to offer. So I wasn't blowing through the game or anything. Both playthroughs are now unplayable due to the glitches in the game.
You should perform more testing before putting out a product that has this many glitches.

Saying that "every game has glitches" is an excuse. It is a lame excuse. Was CoD4 riddled with glitches? Nope. Was Bioshock riddled with glitches? Nope. What about Viva Pinata:TiP or MGS4? Nope. What about Uncharted and Burnout: Paradise? Nope.
Plenty of ambitious, AAA games have been glitch-free. There is NO excuse. If you want to tolerate a glitchy game, then you have low standards. Don't act like everyone else should tolerate a glitchy game. Some of us have higher expectations.

If these massive glitches were simply "missed", I'm worried about the quality of the other aspects of the game.
However, in most cases developers know when a game is glitchy. They have to keep to deadlines, though, so they launch it anyway. Heck, the 360 hardware itself falls into this category.

actually call of duty 4 had a lot of glitchs at launch, ALOT. bioshock had a lot of collision glitchs in the game. as for burnout paradise may not have had glitchs but alot of reviewers didnt like the game. mainly for simple reasons as where to go after you lose a match or restart it.

had no problem no freezes no monk glitch no lag while doing co op everything is going smooth sailings for me but im glad that people report these problems and that lionhead is quick to fix it good thing they listen to their community

yeah, the problems aren't major at all. the problems are small. like how stuff fades away near the camera, but only half of the stuff, like the dog's polygonal body, but then not his fur all over and sh1t like that. it's just f*cking DUMB. like they didn't test the game even once or something. just lazy.
tons of stuff like that. like also with how you float an inch or two off the ground in a lot of areas but not in others.
how you can't find anything without turning that GARBAGE bread crum trail back on for a second (leaving it on is just gay as hell, sorry, PETER)
tons of stuff... and I wish I could kill that f*cking dog. so annoying. I really hate dogs...
