I am very disappointed in the co op.I love the single player tho.
Apart from the odd glitches..like my son standing in the middle of oakfield like he's dead and not moving or saying anything..

the single player is GREAT, but the co-op was a huge selling point for the game. If I knew that it was going to be broken, I just would have rented or gamefly over purchasing. It has the worst online co-op this gen by far. Hell the co-op function on Too Human is even better.

Wow they locked the thread, and the excuse by the mod is worthless.

This might be my last time supporting lionhead.

Under the Features list:

If you go into another persons game as a guest the look of the character will be based off of your character's look. If you don't have a character of your own you'll have a generic pre-determined look to your hero

In all seriousness, they might end up reimplementing using your actual hero in someone else's co-op game. Especially if they actually have that listed at the community forums official info section with the video linked to it as well.

some people eh? aint no pleasing them. these are the same people who no doubt have banged on for the lst 4 years about how the original was a tremendous single player experience, one of the best of the last gen.

fable is, and has always been, an experience to be enjoyed by one person. its a tale of how one player can affect the world, those people in it, and how everyones experience is different.

well done lionshead for attempting to add co-op. does it work? kinda. not great, i've seen far better. but seriously, if you were buying this for the co-op, which they admitted would be limited, then go f*** off and play warcraft.

people have well and truly got their knickers in a twist with this one, and every one of them needs a slap in the face with the glove of ungratefullness. and a kick in the nads.

oh, and the handbag joke, priceless.

You love sipping up that lionhead cooler water don't yea.

Don't tout something as a feature if it is not. PM went on and on and on and on about how the co-op would allow you to play and interact with other fable hero's worlds. Why put it in the game if it is broken?

I am enjoying the game, but co-op was a seller for me.

Why give them a free pass? People were saying the same thing about Gearbox and the new Brother in Arms. Its BS.

How pissed would have the Halo community been if the co-op had not worked on Halo 3? I would have been posting the same thing, and you would have posted "it's a feature just be happy." Sorry I am done drinking that p*ss.

Oh please arrrghhh you are one of them. You told me yesterday that items, gold and exp STAY WITH YOU. You were being a blind uninformed messanger... You said it with conviction and you were wrong.

This is a major missing feature from an online coop RPG. I dont know how this game is scoring so high. They deduct from online only game for having no single player, but when a game has a lame duck for online they dont mark it down?? Maybe the pity letter begging the gamers who review to let someone who doesnt game review it worked. They wouldnt know what the hell was wrong with the game, so that was his target audience for reviews.

Just like the poster said on the other thread, if you paid 60 bucks for this game you should be able to voice your opinion. I can't understand why you would try and silence them. If you love it so much start a thread over there expressing your opinion.

They did not deliver on their promises. That is what the problem is. Why have a roll playing game where you level up and build your char if you cant even use it in coop. You dont even get anything from playing coop - no items return with you. LAME, LAME, LAME. He should of taken a note from Diablo2's playbook. I seriously hope D3 comes to consoles... Blizz knows how to get it done.

I said something about this and I got bashed saying I was wrong in my assumptions, but it turns out they were true. You guys can back Lionhead all you want. They screwed the pooch.

AND - Peter M. said the coop was only possible on Xbox Live and you guys once again grabbed your life jackets and jumped on the Peterboat saying how great the game was going to be..Resistance2 SAYS HI!

"Look it's one thing not liking the co-op feature for what it is, that's your right and no one here at Lionhead minds you giving noise to that opinion as long as you aren't rude about it.

It's a complete different matter to shout so loud and say we're breaking promises left, right and centre because that is simply not true. It's a lot of balony, the feature is what it is, we decided to make it like that. Don't like it? Too bad. For every one person that's complaining there's twenty playing the game. I suggest you do that as well."

yea i think the same thing was posted on the Brother in Arms forums regarding their pile o' fail multiplayer. A Gearbox dev posted the same thing.

Those devs on that thread aren't really doingthemselves any favours, seems like they're alienating and agitating quite a few of their customers.

All they really need to do is moderate inappropriate (obscene or otherwise) posts and take on board the criticisms of their player base.
