Marvel Vs Capcom 2 coming to PS3/360

DarkZero: A new rating on the ERSB website, which was found by the snooping people of NeoGAF, has found out that Marvel Vs Capcom 2 will be making its way to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in the future. The site states the game was rated Teen because it contains "Blood, Suggestive Themes, and Violence."

probably a remake, PS3 cant play PS2 games (well except for the 20gb,60gb and the old 80gb versions) they would need a Emulator to play those games on the PS3. that gives it away that its a remake, but in what form?

Keep in mind that this game was found on the ESRB ratings database. Chances are, this game may never see the light of day on the aforementioned consoles. Remember, there are tons of games rated for PSN and a select few for XBLA that have been rated for months but have yet to even be acknowledged by their respective publishers.

1.4 - I still play this game on my Dreamcast...
...it is one of the best 2-D fighters I've ever played with respect to SF2. This is terrific news if it's confirmed. While a port is fine a revamped version using SF4 graphics would be pretty hot.

Def one of the best 2D fighters. I had this for the Dreamcast and th e Original Xbox, but it's a RARE game to find and if you do, your still gonna pay around $70 dollars for it.

Very RARE title.

Am I the only one who had more fun playing the first Marvel vs Capcom than the second one? Second one did have a lot of people but 1 to me was far more balanced, fun, and even had a much higher replay value.

I like the combo crazy assaults people did in MVC2 game. But I liked the SNK vs Capcom series more. SVC 2000 and 2001 games where really making dream matches come true. I want those so really bad, brings back great gaming memories.

Yes, I remember Capcom said something about how they determine what games to remake and put up on Digital Download based on sources like ebay. Basically, if there was a high demand on certain Capcom games, they will remake it.
If you think about it, that's pretty smart. You undermined the second hand market on rare/popular old games and you people to buy your game on digital download where consumer can't sell it again on a second hand market.

finally. this game is awesome and I cant wait to play it in HD =). Downloading it would be far better and cheaper then Disc so it would most likely be for DL in PSN and XBLA.

THIS is the one... simplified controls even for a vs game, TERRIBLE music... And it had Cable and Marrow in it... waitaminute, that's a plus, those two are actually pretty cool. marrow was annoying as hell, though...

I'll get this if its at a low price like the PS1 games on the PSN store...I wish they would make a HD version of SFIII 3rd Strike! That will look so good in HD as the graphics are already good, also Online play to! That will sell well on the PSN and Xbox Live well IMO! Plz Capcom DO IT!!!

capcom lost the marvel rights. so they couldn't do a part 3. but i hear EA just lost those same rights so capcom is possibly gonna do just like with SF2 HD remix and SF4. remake MvC2 as a download to stir up intrest for MvC3!
