Security sounds great, like the idea of activating the defences first. River looks like something straight out of UT3 and Gridlock 2.0 (2 "point" 0, I hate the whole "point" thing) will be great, still probably my favourite map on Gears 1.

My fav map in gears of war 1 was rooftops....I hope they redo it or something but then again, the hammer of dawn has limited ammo now :(

The map "River", is the most graphically impressive part of any game i have ever seen.

Gears2 is going to be so awesome and I personally can't wait to try it out. These maps are nice, but does anybody know the total count of them, and if there will be any vehicles?

Ships with 12 on the disc, plus 4 or 5 downloadable upon release (old maps tarted up).

Vehicles, unconfirmed, but if I was to take a punt, Id say extremely doubtful.
