Fable 2 Limited Edition without premium box, fate cards and hobbe figure

The premium box, five printed fate cards, and Hobbe figure will not be available as part of the Limited Collector's Edition. Fable II dev team and Microsoft apologize for any inconvenience.
Updates:
Lionhead has decided to make Fate Cards as a downloadable PDF to let users print the cards themselves. Plus they have also confirmed the new LCE version will have the original LCE artwork.

There is nothing inconvenient about it. It's just fans are dissappointed and perhaps pissed, like the guy/gal above.

At least they reduced the price and gave everyone a free album. I'm not a fan and don't intend to buy this game, but get free music. Win for me, but not so good for fans.... I feel your pain, as C&C Tiberium was just cancelled! @!$#@!$#@$#@$32

My initial reaction was to be pissed too. But they reduced the price $10 and are still going to include bonus content which you may or may not be able to download normally (at least at first). Didn't Soul Calibur IV do something like that? I'm sure they realized that this would make a lot of people upset and wouldn't do it unless they had to.

I'm more concerned that this might start fueling a negative opinion trend towards Lionhead or the game that I don't think they deserve. I'm confident that the game is going to be great.

in short no, and i don't know anyone who bought the LE for anything that is going away

i haven't bought a limited edition game yet and won't until gears 2 comes out because i really want the art book with it

Personally, as one of those effected, I am a bit miffed.

It is far too close to the release of the game, surely they would have been privy to this info well in advance?

there really is no need to buy the LE as it doesn't even have a different box than the STD edition.
