Infinite Undiscovery selling well in Japan

TVGB: "For those of you who don't know that the Xbox 360 is doing terribly in Japan, well, the Xbox 360 is doing terribly in Japan. To give you an idea of the scope of Microsoft's problem, a mere two Xbox games cracked Famitsu's Top 30 sales chart for the week of September 8th-14th, while a whopping seventeen made the list for the DS."

Doesn't matter. This article is comparing a small, affordable handheld with a multimedia home console. It's like comparing apples to... well, raisins. Shouldn't he be comparing a multimedia home console to, you know, ANOTHER multimedia home console?

The article fails. Game over.

Isn't that three weeks in a row that the 360 has outsold the PS3 in Japan and the world?

@ toastedduck

You're the one that bubbles need to be taken from. Only because you disagree you want to get bubbles from someone else. Thats trying to get pure sensorship.

You don't belong here trying to put people up to other ones for nothing. You little dictator duck

I just GAVE bubbles to dcbronco. I hope everyone will do so and he hits 10 bubbles within no time

4.6 - Confirmed or not,
Sony isn't making up any ground on Microsoft. So their plan to win this generation might have to be postponed.

Thank you TheMART at Xboxkings

So true, bubbles! At it`s current rate of sales, the PS3 will have as many consoles sold (worldwide) as the 360 does in about a year or so. The 360 and the PS3 will be competing for years to come, we all win as gamers! woot!

on topic: grats MS for your decent success in Japan, no one would have guessed it, keeps Sony on their toes making sure the always continue pushing quality games like they have always been doing! Don`t want them to get lazy like Nintendo.

*shakes fist at nintendo*

6 - Haven't played it yet
The reviews for the game haven't been glowing, so I passed on it in favor of Tales of Vesperia. I don't know for myself if Versperia is better or not, but I'm not upset about my decision because I love Vesperia!

But, either way, the more JRPGs the better. Keep it up Microsoft. If nothing else, you are least putting together a better all around game library compared to last gen.

MS it doing well in Japan at the moment and it will be interesting to see what happens over the next week or two.

Sales are going down week by week which is not uncommon with anything in Japan other than Wii and DS.

I have been using VG charts to rank the games so far I know it is not accurate but it gives a good guesstimate of how they are going. So far it is going better than Eternal Sonata but not as good as Blue Dragon.

In my personal opinion about the game. It has an interesting story and Star Ocean gameplay but I don't like the Unreal Engine's graphic style.

I will admit, its better then I thought it would be, but,, the game's story is mediocre at best,, and thats pushing it. Graphically its a pretty game, but its really short, and all the missions seem to have no meaning behind them. I think the only true reason that this game is selling is because it has "SquareEnix" on the box. I too am guilty for the same reasons,, but this definitely falls far from the squareenix feeling that I always got from every Square game I ever played. I was finally starting to have some fun till it prompted me to put in the second disk. I couldn't believe I didnt even play for 4 hours and I was more then half way through? I think the average time I spent on ps2 rpg's is like 50 + hours, and thats before I tried to do everything in the game. I hope that the following Square games don't fall to this trend.

Half hearted praise.

Seems like they're(he/she) not able to bring themselfs to report positive news without letting their bias be known(distaste)

In over all sales MSFT is losing but is now not in last place in current sales.

its obvious the 360 is doing bad in japan but recently it has had some life to it but when you look at it the ps3 isnt doing all that well software/hardware either. During the first tour of the ps3 in japan it did well but all that has lvled off and its in 360 land. I also like how they compare the 360 to the ds. the ds is a monster "which is odd since theres no games" and the wii is a beast and well theres no games

It's weird nintendo can just keep cranking out the mediocre titles and they sell like bottled water from fiji.
