XBLA writes: "The Xbox team is hard at work getting ready for the launch of the New Xbox Experience, coming to Xbox 360s around the world later this fall. In order to prepare to bring you new features, games and experiences the team is going to need to take Xbox LIVE offline for a short time. On September 29 from 09.00 BST (12:01 AM PST) for 24 hours Xbox LIVE will be unavailable.

what to do when xbox live is up ?....

thats the question which drove me as a charter gold member from live this year....

mulitplatform games and meh early PS3 games kept me paying for Live...
now the multiplatform games are a wash and for me...besides GOW2...PSN is where I am at for free

2. play your ps3 or wii

3. go see a movie in a theatre

4. go shopping for more games

5. watch tv

6. read video game magazines

8. try finding a girlfreind instead in that offline time its your only shot lol

come on, xbox (or any other platform) isnt just about online!! i enjoy single just as much, if not more, as multi! ts not the end of the world if u cant play multi for a day. and playing single doesnt necceserly need to b viva pinata. CoD4, GoW all those games are amazing at single too. and then there are things like AC, which dont have multi at all, and they are still amazing!

Play a single player game. Currently, I'm playing through Bioshock for the second time. After that, I'll play through Rainbow Six Vegas. Not a big deal to be off of XBL for a whole 24 hours.
