1.1 - Na owners can rejoice too
since it is region free. I am importing both the Fifa 09 and Pro Evo 09 EU versions simply because they come out earlier and the boxart is much much better, especially for Fifa09.both on PS3.

4 - One step forward, two steps back
I know gameplay is more important than licenses, but it always seems like Konami takes one step forward and two steps back when it comes to licenses. Sure they have Zenit, Liverpool and United in, but they've also lost most of the Spanish teams to FIFA.

JohnR is right - it's going to be an interesting contest this year between FIFA and PES. It's too close to call at the moment, which is why I hope the PES demo comes sooner rather than later.

each person will make up his mind , but my opinion after trying a bit both , is that as usual fifa is pretty , shiny , got everything you need on the licensing side and options ... however the core gameplay remains quite inferior to PES , with yet again another outdated looking game .

I agree, this is pretty terrible news for pes. While they were always lacking in the epl license department, the last couple games have at least had all the full kits from the spanish, dutch, italian and french leagues. Now it looks like only a handful of teams will be featured from the spanish and italian clubs.

After playing the fifa demo though, I'll be picking up pes again regardless. I just hope they fix the miserable online experience from pes 08. As for fifa, from the demo the new version actually plays worse than last year's, but it still looks great and has every license you could want. Its a shame a game has yet to exist that looks as good as fifa and plays as good as pes.

8 - PES it will allways b better
The only thing that fifa has that I like r the teams n maybe that why we everybody should not buy never a fifa n teach them to stop the monopoly that they want to make n I don't know why they say fifa looks better if I play fifa is verry hard for me to fell the players n tell who has the ball if I play PES when messi or KaKa have the ball. I know n fell them n can play just like the way they play in real life. Something imposible to do on fifa n yes you can import PES from the U.K n it works whit the HD cables or whitouth them on any tv in the US but this will be my 1 years whit out a soccer game I will pass on PES n I will not even think on FiFa is a joke it fells like the firts PES game but whit poor AI n borrin Gameplay I fell sorry for those hardcore gamers who buy fifa
