The Force Unleashed Sells Over 1.5 Million Copies Already

LucasArts is pretty darn happy right now. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide within it's first week of release.

From the press release:

"The record-setting sales of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed shows the undiminished power of Star Wars and its popularity across all media types, including video games," said Darrell Rodriguez, president of LucasArts. "We're blown away by the response to the game."

The reviews this game were a little harsh I think.

How are the controls?

I already bought it on the PS3 but since I travel a lot, I was thinking of picking it up for the PSP. I've heard the controls take some getting used to however.

Also, how is the historical mode?

The controls on the analog are a bit stiff but eventually you get used to it.Also the historical mode is actually pretty neat because you play with some different characters like Anakin Skywalker and its a nice twist.But the best part are the graphics.I sometimes think the PSP version looks better than the Wii version but the cinematics are ingame not GCI so they dont lok too amazing.I recommend it

I rented it from Gamefly and beat it last night. It was a fun game to play through. The force controls are a little wonky from time to time but fun game nonetheless.

i was a bit disappointed in the demo of this game and will not be buying it with all the other great games coming out.. BUT im glad to see its selling well! they put a lot of effort into the game and i hear the story is very good, better than in the last movies.

I think your missing out on a good game. Its not perfect but it is still a lot of fun and the story is really good. You should a least consider a rental I understand money is going to be tight will all these games coming out soon.

There really isn't anything else to play right now, and its kinda like the start of a Huge game storm coming..but i'm a starwars fan, so i had to buy it!+ i haven't played a starwars game since....what Rogue Squadron or Old Republic>>>

this game sucks. I have only played it on the wii so I dont know how the ps360 version is. If the ps360 version is the same crap as the wii version its sad that this sells 1.5mill when other brilliant games are overlooked. The gameplay is sooo repetative and the controlls suck.

14 - If your a Starwars Fan/Gamer, how can you not enjoy this game?
there has not been a Starwars game that puts the Force to use, as this game.

Actually one of my Favorites was "Empire Strikes Back" on the SNES..hehe

I played the DEMO but will get this game after I'm done catching up.
