I agree. If they haven't already, MS has once again ran its mouth about something they shouldn't be doing so, and once again, Rockstar has to correct them. I've been saying this many times that MS really needs to just let Rockstar give the information about the games they make.

And Bon Scott, that doesn't mean that he is wrong here. Rockstar could be tiring of this, and we might be looking at what could be (if not close to) the last straw. Remember what happened with MS and Level 5? The same thing could be happening again with Rockstar and MS if MS doesn't stop this.

yeah, I was enjoying it here while Rick was playing with burnout bikes, but alas he's back. Theres alot of people here like him. But he excels at what he does, camps the news and makes sure he's 1st or 2nd in any 360 / Microsoft story to say something negative.

people have already moved on from the game and with all the games coming out in October and November people who have played the game will go for one of the new games, not an add-on to an old game.

Microsoft should sue Rockstar. They'll lose, piss off Rockstar, and miss out on the next GTA all at once.

God I can't wait to see the look on your faces when Sam Houser comes out and confirms that the next GTA will be PS3 exclusive. You'll see what GTA IV could have been.

Microsoft should just ask for the money back and ignore the DLC and try to pretend it never happened, at this rate it's never going to come out. The lack of communication over this between Rockstar and Microsoft make me think Rockstar really don't care enough to get to work on it and Microsoft don't care enough to chase it up.

Worst case senario?

Microsoft get $50 million back and PS3, 360 and PC get the DLC.

It's funny because 360 fans are hoping to God it's something worthwhile while PS3 fans are convinced it's nothing.

Whatever it is, there's going to be a lot of tears on N4G once it's announced.

If it's worthwhile:

360 fans - COMPLETE VERSION ONLY ON 360! I LOVE DLC! LOSERS!
PS3 fans - We have games to play, so don't need DLC.

If it's not:

360 fans - It's still more content and it's optional anyway, I don't want it, but I'm sure some people do.
PS3 fans - Yeah, but the game sucks anyway, so it's just more of the same. Hope it was worth the wait, idiots!

See, you and Omega up above who believe that Microsoft should sue someone that was nice enough to GIVE you the game PLUS something extra just for you for said game in the first damn place, coupled with the miscommunication (and something tells me that's not by accident) of Microsoft about EVERYTHING that ever had to do with GTA4, are probably the reason WHY Rockstar is the "Sony fanboys" that you claim them to be. With friends like THAT, who NEEDS enemies?

You see, the fact of the matter has been is that the 360 fanboys have been wanting for JUST Microsoft to benefit from the DLC, and to hell with Rockstar. You guys have been basically DARING for Rockstar to TRY to develop PS3 ECs and DLC content of ANY kind because you KNOW MS will sue Rockstar because MS has some catch-22 contract that they forced Rockstar to sign (along with that $50 Million point that was never actually proven, only understood without documented proof, however THAT is able to happen), you act like Rockstar should never take in some of the profit from the DLC, and now you're hoping MS sues Rockstar for delaying the DLC. All the while not giving a crap what happens with the relationship between MS and Rockstar (maybe even hoping that Rockstar would be HAPPY that MS is suing them), and now making that Rockstar somehow had it in for MS and that they couldn't be trusted because they are "Sony fanboys" somehow (to which you'd label someone a "Sony fanboy" if they even had a PS3 in their HOUSE regardless of what other systems they owned and enjoyed), and that Rockstar somehow was supposed to hold loyalty to MS (remember, you guys were the SAME people who said that Rockstar didn't actually have loyalty to any system, which was the reason you guys gave for why the DLC was 360 exclusive and why the game was OUT for the 360. You can't have your cake and eat it, too. That loyalty comment works both ways).

And then you guys fail to realize that if MS kept their mouths shut and just let Rockstar talk about the game and not make all these claims that they KNEW weren't true but they knew they would be amplified to HELL and back by the 360 fanboys, then maybe they wouldn't be IN this situation to begin with.

It makes sense really. MS has one BIG game coming with Gears 2--although I think people will be all over the new Call of Duty when it drops and let's not forget Fallout 3.

By hyping the DLC for GTA, which is arguably MS's other "big hit" this year despite its multiplatform status, MS has another ace in its hole for the holidays.

Otherwise, the 360 lineup looks rather anemic.

Fable II and Left 4 Dead shouldn't be counted out but I don't think anyone would get a 360 for those games...not even Gears 2.

So you're pretty much right-Gears 2 *is* the only card in the stacks.

Yeah, I didn't include Fable II or Left 4 Dead because I don't see those as being as mass market as COD 5 (mostly due to the hype of COD 4 and people picking it up because of that) and Fallout (which seems to be getting a lot of air time in broader market--G4tv, Gametrailers, etc). I could be wrong though.

Besides, I don't even think those games will matter once Gears 2 releases. I predict 1/3 of American 360 owners will pick it up and will cause sales to be low for those other games. At least until Christmas.

Also look for Fable II to do big numbers as well and of course the games like Fallout 3 wich will undoubtedly run and look better on the 360. And i'll state the obvious Gears 2, like it or not, will be MASSIVE!

GTA4 DLC is irrelevant. That game is garb

That will be his next interview. This is now a waste of time and money the amount of people who own a 360 and purchased GTAVI either no longer play this , traded it in or when it finally drops (DLC) will be playing something else and have no time to play this. money well spent M$ and if people think that M$ will get the money back they may get some but not all R* is not doing this for free.
