Eden promise hefty AiTD PS3 changes

Developer Eden have been taking on-board the negative feedback which engulfed Alone in the Dark's release on the Xbox 360, and have announced a rash of changes that will be put into effect for the game's PlayStation 3 debut.

For starters, the PS3 will be getting "full 360 degree camera control", while the camera will be enhanced for the first-person view, too. Likewise, the controls will be quicker and smoother; addressing another problem linked to the third-person camera.

are you refering to them still beta testing the console or the game? This is why i like sony. They actually TELL you when you are testing something because it has the word BETA after it.

And yes that does belong in the open zone but come on. this is a pretty crumby move from the dev. guess its what we get for whinging about delays hey guys?

Even after the last Silent Hill: Homecoming interview, I thought Siren just seemed like the better game. It would seem that horror survival games are just not what they used to be. I guess that is why I love SIREN so well, it is freaky and much like the old style survival games.

6 - thats not fair

so they release a crappy game for pc and 360, it gets terrible reviews. so they modify it heavily and release it on ps3.

i hope there is a patch for pc/360 otherwise eden have just built their own coffin, climbed into it and nailed it shut.

LOL oh that has to burn. They used the 360 as a beta test. They didnt even care that the game wasn't finished. Then again nothing M$ or any 360 exclusive is truly finished. It's just rushed cash grabs before people notice its all crap.

fuc this game and atari. i got this game b4 the reviews thinking it was gana be a good game. i never got passed that bugy as$ level with the cab and the road behind you crumbling.

i would die for landing after the first big jump, never landed on anything other than the road and just died for no reason. i would also die for driving through a little as$ pole had no other way to go you just had to hit the pole in the right angle if not game over.

if atari needed the 360 to beta test sh!t like that, then they deserve to go bankrupt. atari lost my support, im sure many of the 360 gamers support. good luck with the sony camp atari cause they are much harder to convince to buy games as it is..

i wouldnt even tell the sony camp to get that garbage of a game.

i think i remember reading that; that one level is one of the levels they are going to redesign to make it more accessible and enjoyable...

i'm not sure, i havent played it but your description sounds like something i read they wanted to fix
