I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this game was terrible. I played the demo on normal and felt like I was playing it on impossible. The game sucks period I don't wish to see anything compared to this unless it's rated a < 40 on metacritic.

Needs to hang up the boxing gloves for a bit. I can't remember one boxing game since Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! that I enjoyed. Well, Super Punch-Out! on SNES was great as well. Oh Ring King rocked, bring back Ring King please. I miss being able to uppercut the opponent out of the ring in 8-bit glory.

true. i didnt know my PS3's RGB was set at "limited". So ive changed it to "FULL" and it is much better.

Becuase Sony is a stupid ass company. Even "wired cable ehernet connection" is the default net set up on ps3.

if "wirLESS" net connection was default i bet loads more people will find a way to join to psn and go on net . Because with wriless option it brings up a step by step thing . which gets you on the net quick and easy

if it was defulat maybe 1 milllion more people would be on psn.

The reason "Limited" is enabled by default, is because it is a Video Level Signal, which all TVs support.

"Full" on the other hand, is a PC Level Signal, which only select few TVs support (while other TVs experience black crush and white clipping). Full is made so anybody using a PC display to play the PS3 does not have a washed out picture.

But yes, GameTrailers should enable "Full" on the PS3 for videos they post online because only then, will the picture have the same look on their videos as what people see on their TV.

Excellent post, kazuma.

The bottom line is "RGB limited" is the color range of HDTVs, while "RGB Full" is the color range of a typical PC monitor. If you have an HDTV, use RGB Limited; if you have a PC monitor use RGB Full.

A perfect example of this is the game Dark Sector and the very first level of the game. When I set my PS3 to RGB Full I cannot see a bloody thing in the darkened hallway on my 46" Samsung LCD HDTV. Reseting to RGB Limited and the details and lighting pop right off the screen. HUGE difference.

kai is correct is pointing out, though, that if GamesTrailers are taking their captures directly from a PC monitor then they need to enable RGB Full, otherwise the capture does not accurately reflect what home users will see on their HDTVs.

I just set the setting to Limited for a second and i have to say i don't personally like how the display looks now. The blacks look to light and not dark enough for my liking. Everything started to look a little more faded so i switched back Full. I have a 50 inch 720 Samsung and it can be used as a PC monitor (it has the inputs for it). So maybe that might be the reason it looks better at full.

You are the only one who seems to think they look different. Any present difference in edges is more likely due to the difference in brightness (or capture method since the PS3 is known to be difficult to capture video on)rather than actual resolution or AA.

It may even be the video compression which is fairly crappy (like most all GT vids).

that value i mentioned- it's things like Blu-Ray, wi-fi, free PSN (and many free services to go along with it), PSP connectivity, ultra-reliability

plus the PS3 now has an excellent line-up that will leave the 360 in the dust... starting with LBP

oh yeah and 199 is the really sh!t version of the 360 that is horribly pathetic.... more like 249 if you want a half-decent experience (all come with RROD, disc scratching and excessive noise...yay!!)

Not so fast now kiddy. There are more, much more games. Its shown in allmost all games and you just mentioned a game that is rated very, very high in its score The Orange Box (which also don't get updates on the PS3), but also great games like Skate suffered and many, many more.
