i have it on my gamefly que but releasing same day as SOCOM?

sorry since i have to choose how i spend the next few days after that day...

i choose socom...

big anticipated titles shouldn't come out the same day as other titles..

oh well.. at least its a rental and not a purchase...

Germany has a habbit of banning awesomeness, so i'm not surprised...but china and Japan?...yeah either way...PS3 version will work anywhere, assuming they can read English...

EA gained a little respect from me with Skate, Dead Space looks amazing.
also any gameplay footage i've seen has been of the 360 version.

Originally the game was lead on the 360 the recently switched to the PS3 so that the developer could do as Criterion did with Burnout, make it exactly the same for both platforms. Basically, the game has had two leads in it's developement cycle.

I'm 100% confused. Germany I guess I understand based on previous reactions, China I don't know anything about, but WHY is this banned in Japan??? Resident Evil is a Japanese game, how is this any worse? This completely baffles me.. seriously. I read it three times and I still cannot believe it. This bugs me most of all because, if this ends up being an awesome game, sales will suffer and lower chances of financial success/a sequel. I think developers deserve their money when they make awesome games. sheesh...

This also baffles me. Why in the world is this game getting banned? It doesn't look any worse than all the other horror games out as far as gore is concerned.

5 - Banned everywhere?
I swear EA know japan and china it wont sell so they are slipping them some money to ban it so people are saying 'ITS BANNED EVERYWHERE, IT MUST BE AWESOME!' and it sells well where they want it. haha.

I wonder if Dead Space will be as good as the movie Event Horizon was?

People made a big fuss about the content in that back when it came out too, if I remember correctly.
