Dead Space now shipping on October 14 for 360 and PS3

EA has just announced that the highly anticipated sci-fi horror shooter, Dead Space, will be pushed up yet again. Originally slated for release on October 31 then moved ahead to October 21 at E3, Dead Space will now arrive on October 14 in stores nationwide for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC version is still slated to come out on the 21st.

Another rushed EA game . There just putting it out quickly leaving out futher polishing just so people will buy it out of boardem before they get crushed by real games that took time and effort

I have a pretty good feeling that the Dead Space crowd and the LBP crowd will be different (for the most part anyway). Not everyone can handle games that scare the crap out of them. Personally, I think this game looks way better than both LBP and R2. The game I'm glad it's backed itself up from by an extra week is Fallout3.

It's just come along so well. This has looked finished for the past few conventions it's been showed off at. It's also my #1 most anticipated title of Q4 2008, so this is incredible news for me!

Pushing up the release date could be a very good sign, but I hope they're not rushing it out the door so it can squeeze in a few sales before the heavy hitters start coming out in November.

That's great news. Smart move too, because the 21st will be the biggest date ever in Videogame history. ( In terms of quality and quantity)

Just check on the 21 st:

Fable 2, LBP, A Vampyr Story, Star Ocean: First Departure,
Eternal Sonata, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows , Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia , BioShock ,Far Cry 2 all on the same day. That's crazy.

I'm getting LBP, Far Cry 2, BioShock, and Fallout 3 on day one.

Dead Space is day-one, and Saints Row 2 is a maybe - that's a possible 6 games in one month, and that's about $400, a whole paycheck... Damn.
