This is going to take some delicate timing. I think MS and Rockstar should wait before releasing. There are some hot titles that are coming out this Fall and early next year that will even overshadow GTAIV DLC.

They should possibly wait until the summer when new releases slow down a little.

wait until what? what if Saint Row 2 being released earlier than the DLC and it turns out to be better than GTAIV?(GTAIV is nothing special to begin with anyway!) then, less people will buy the DLC but I know R* has nothing to loose as the $50mil already in their pocket!

the only one loosing is M$ but I also know that they don't really care as $50mil is nothing compared to the will of providing the exclusive 'extra content' for "the best game ever made", right?

GTAIV failed to capture the heart of majority of gamers and considering its massive hype, I'll say it FAILED a lot of gamers! the truth speaks for itself! the simplest one being its not even on the top of most played games on XBL already only after what, 2 months?

so, M$ can be considered as successful on marketing GTAIV on exclusive DLC but how much will it set people back? I don't think too many people will buy it if it's $30 or even $20 considering GTAIV is TOTALLY NOT "the best game ever" and people knew about it already! so what about $15? come on...even Braid is $15! either way, I think, this DLC will not sell as well as M$ hope it will and that's an opinion!

yea 360 does have delays, however they are for completely diffrent reasons than the ps3. the ps3 gets delays because of the hardware being so convoluted and difficult to develop for. the 360 gets delays because of the team making the game cant decide on what to make.

this expansion is gonna be HUUUGEE! nearly a year of development time, its gonna be san andreas just like R* hinted at.

Delay? Since when? It's never had a concrete release date. And, just because they are not saying anything does not mean that it got pushed back. I still expect that it will be released before Christmas.

Firmware update 2.4 never had a specific release date- Yet the 360 fanatics called it a delay.

Killzone 2 never had a release date-Yet 360 fanatics called it a delay.

PS3 games didn't take off immediately-Yet 360 fanatics called them delays.

ALL COMPANIES HAVE DELAYS.

The way 360 fanatics were acting, you'd think Microsoft never had a delay in their miserable existence as a corporation.

Its a known fact every console, every developer has delays.. Sometimes companies put unrealistic release dates.. Sometimes to give devs something to shoot for, sometimes to get the fans excited about something..
