No more Crackdown DLC, say Realtime Worlds

OXM UK spotted a post on the Crackdown forums saying that Realtime Worlds definitely won't be doing new DLC because they're busy with APB - but "hope to reward" their loyal fans later. Unlockables for APB, perhaps?

I hope crackdown 2 releases

it's a shame that good games like crackdown didn't sell that well while crappy games like halo 3 sells like hot cakes and even more shameful that some has bought crackdown only for h3 beta

crackdown is one of the best games on 360,gameplay wise,graphics wise,controlles and rightdown super addictive

games like crackdown should be an example of how you innovate and build to the open world formula

i gotta somewhat agree, crackdown is prolly better than most of the ps3s library of exclusives. but come on wtf, halo 3 garbage? that game is fkn awesome and fun i still play it today and i actually will be playing it later today. there isnt any other game i could say the same for. i guess people that get owned at halo 3 online are the ones that dont like it.

The game came out early 2007. One would be have to be on "Crack" to think that there will be any new DLC for Crackdown, LOL.

If not free, how about just lowering the price to 400 points? It's been 800 points for a long time now. If they lowered it maybe it would get some more sales.

Crackdown >>>>>> GTAIV by about a million miles, fantastic game. Rockstar really were schooled in how to make open world games fun.

I have no doubt Sucker Punch will do the same with inFamous...

I have my doubts with THQ and Saints Row though, that game is wack.

The game's what...£8 in some places? and you're complaining about £6 worth of DLC that makes the game a whole different experience?

Grow up.

Crackdown is one of the best games of this generation and i'll wholeheartidly invest in the sequel.

In fact i loaded it last night on my new 42", it's amazing with "trumotion" on in 1080p.

I just today looked through my list of games I own but haven't played in forever, and realized I'm on the last island of Crackdown but never finished. I need to start playing this game again. AAAA+++ WOULD PLAY AGAIN.
