I was about to say that they forgot FF10 and their social commentary of people who shove religion down everyone's throats and let their belief system cloud tolerance and everything else.

That game's story is something the Religious Right must read about!

Actually, while you have your right to express that, I think the majority of people want a story they can relate to, and thus, that story makes the player care about the characters and the back stories that are presented to the player. They have been there, seen horrors such as those, and suddenly, you want to play on to find out what happens next in the story to see if something gets resolved, and thus, long and behold, you are trying to defeat this boss that will take the next 24 to kill in order to progress further into the game.

And FF has always been about political storylines. Kingdoms jockeying for position amongst the world, tyranny, religious extremists that go too far, corporate greed. It's all been in there. I'm not sure what you'll be seeing in FF13 that could be overboard compared to some of the FF stories in the past.

You can only get the true FF experience on the PS3:
PS3 = Lead platform for FFXIII, and has been since 2005.
PS3 version = On a 50 GB Blu-ray disc, uncompressed.

In addition:
1. Exclusive FFXIII demo in March 2009 on PS3
2. Exclusive FFXIII in Japan - for you Japanese speaker to port since no regional lock unlike the crapbox DVDs
3. Exclusive FFXIII Versus on PS3
4. Exclusive FFXIII Agito on PSP

The 360 version is a port. So I really shouldn't be calling it a "version" at all.
The 360 PORT hasn't even gone into development.
The 360 PORT will be on multiple DVD's and it will “probably” STILL look worse than the PS3 version (e.g. RAGE + Far Cry II)

With Crapbox360's RROD + warranty expiring, Microwave Oven-heat + Lawnmower-noise + Disc scratchier + non-BR + 50 USD Live per year + no Wifi + no HDMI port + no upgradable HD + HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE value for your money (see: http://blogs.pcworld.com/ga... beloved console WILL die by the time FFXIII is released in NA

nah it was the same thing even before the 360 announcement. But still, after this announcent, the 360 version will be crap, they'll limit themself so the game can fit on the xbox, stupid thing. Before the announcement, Versus XIII looked better anyway. Plus its PS3 exclusive, so we'll get a better game, better graphics, better content, better sounds, etc.

I'm sorry fanbrat but I only have one multiplatform game at the moment and that's Devil May Cry 4. The rest of my games are exclusive to the PS3. I only buy exclusives and a few multiplatform games if they fancy me.

The only reason why you have a slight edge in graphics when it comes to multiplatforms is because the PS3 is a hard system to program for, not because it's inferior. You want the truth? I'm glad that 360 owners got this game. No sense in spending $500 that you dont have to, right?

But you also have to face facts. SE hasn't even started on the 360 version of FFXIII yet. So there's the very real possibility that it's going to get released much later than the PS3 version (Or even cancelled. Like Juuken said)

SE isn't just going to wait 3-6 months for the 360 version to be finished. You know what they would do? they would release the PS3 version. Then either make 360 owners wait a few months for the 360 version, or just can it completely.

Plus, you're judging Versus XIII for being a spinoff. Even though it's not out yet (and btw, FF spinoffs are never as good? 3 words : Final Fantasy Tactics)

If Versus XIII went Multiplat tomorrow, then you would suddenly expect this game to be just as good as FFXIII, now wouldn't you? -_-

Hey, 360 fanbrats...it's exclusive to the PS3 in Japan so that means...you get the multi-disk changing crap version in the U.S! You idiots get a port of the game while PS3 owners will enjoy the original one!

Microsoft is so bloody stupid that they just stuck a middle finger up in the faces of their small fanbase in Japan! If they really cared about FFXIII going multiplatform, they should have paid some extra cash! But of course they didn't care about the game at all. They just wanted bragging rights because they *stole* yet another exclusive.

I could care less about it going multiplatform now. PS3 owners still get the game and I guarantee it will look better on the PS3 for that matter.
