BioShock PS3 DLC 'right now exclusive'

During Leipzig Games Convention last week VideoGamer.com caught up with 2K Games senior producer Melissa Miller and asked her if the exclusive content will also come out on 360.

Miller replied: "The answer is no. Right now this is a PS3 exclusive."

Exactly. Bioshock devs are going to suck up to ps3 owners hard just because the game is a yr old. Its hard to sell a yr old game and all this DLC and exclusive missions and all that crap does is try to encourage PS3 owners to buy the game.

For me its a rental at best. I don't buy yr old games...certainly not for full price anyway

Exclusive or not this will be great for ps3 owners who havent played this game and been waiting for it. As for the exclusive content, I aint buying there words since they also said the same for Bioshock not coming to ps3. In the end I say just go out and buy it if u are a ps3 owner who hasnt played this game and just enjoy it. Dont worry about the exclusive content, the game was still a great expirience even with out that exclusive content and im sure u will be happy with your purchase. :)

Still a great game for the PS library, the 360 Bioshock players were really devoted so they deserve the challenge rooms too. All in all everybody will most likely end up with all the content.

Anyone saying a year old game isn't worth caring about is silly, some of the best games out there are approaching 20 years old and still just as amazing. A good game can survive the ages, Bioshock is very loved and should easily impress even a year later.

Also this is just controlled PR, they do not want to back themselves into a corner. The PS owners get a more than solid port (equaling the original in every way)and some new DLC, later the 360 may get the same.

We are talking about 3rd party games, more platforms is more money. This is why the DLC will most likely show up on XBL early next year and new DLC after the PS launch, also another reason to believe Bioshock 2 will launch multiplat and simultaneous.

I see sony fans saying the same thing about microsoft all the time, especially when they "stole" FFXIII and when they "bought" dlc for Fallout 3. I'm just pointing out how sony fanboys are reacting much more negatively then xbox fans to this sort of news. This is coming from a ps3 only owner who hates when people go all fanboy.

I rarely ever buy the stuff. Most games DLC is not worth the cash they ask for it. In fact, most if not all DLC is just silly extras that should have come with the retail game. Costumes, Horse armor, need I say more?

If i'm not mistaken DLC means "Hur Hur Hur we wants moar of yo monies for a year old game". If so i don't think that's fair and should ship on the disc.
