4 Free DLC for Tales of Vesperia

To celebrate the release of Tales of Vesperia, Namco Bandai releases 4 Free downloadable contents to help you start off in a grand adventure! As reported last week, this is just the beginning of Namco Bandai making the life of people who doesn't want to spend time with the game a lot easier. We will probably see the Level Up DLC next week? Who knows?

am i reading this correctly? are these DLC's trial content? that will expire hoping you will buy later?

Trial Skill Pack: Estelle
- Estelle will learn, DEFEND, RESIST, RECOVER, ITEM THROWER, BACKSTEP, and EXP SHARE

Trial Skill Pack: Yuri
- Yuri will learn, STRENGTH, VITALITY, RECOVER, ITEM THROWER, BACKSTEP, and EXP SHARE

Trial Synthesis Kit
- A pack with syntehsis material. That is a trial package.(Medical Herb, Soul Grass, Gel Base, Magic Resin) x 10

i hate DLC... i love patches but DLC's suck azz

If these "trial" things will really expire - which would only make sense, hence the word "trial" - that would just be a low blow.
Imagine you dl them and start playing. You come to a boss and you and him are about equal. Just when you can turn the battle to your favor, the trials expire and you ultimately get clobbered.
If these are to stay... kinda tough luck for those who can't dl them. I'm sure you can enjoy and finish the game anyway, but their so called DLC might make it (a lot, [don't how much it can affect gameplay]) easier

Yeesh, even JRPGs are getting DLC. Some companies are turning into nothing but money whores just so you can unlock things already on the disc.
