GameSpy: Tales of Vesperia Review

GameSpy has seen a few solid JRPGs on the Xbox 360 (Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and Eternal Sonata), but until Tales of Vesperia none have really exploited the raw graphical power that the system offers. Vesperia may not deliver a totally fresh plot, but well-written character dialogue and a great combat system go a long way towards mitigating the cliches. A superior blend of style and production values, Tales of Vesperia is the best JRPG on the 360 thus far.

Well if you have the extra cash for the holiday rush,go for it.I got a dilemma with PS360 purchases so I can't make any overreacting decisions.The one JRPG for sure that I am buying this year is Star Ocean 4.As for Tales I will wait and see

The art style of this game looks really nice. Reminds me of a Studio Ghibli film for some reason. Hope it comes to the PS3 at some point down the line.

Well maybe its better that PS3 gets its own Tales game.I feel Namco could benefit from giving each console their own exclusive.1 for Wii,1 for PS3,1 for 360 etc.

After a decent Blue Dragon , and a lackluster Lost Odyssey (sorry but i feel that even the average Enchanted arms was better) , here comes the first true major 360 jrpg !

As a tales fan i was bound to get the title anyway . And i'm pretty sure i'll get infinite undiscovery and disgaea 3 (on ps3) as well .

Of course , i was just talking about soon upcoming titles here .

My main interest in video games are jrpgs anyway , so i'll get so4 , every ff (even if to curse against those i hate afterwards) , Last remnant , valkyria chronicles , Persona 4 for the second time (already got the jap version) , the next kuzunoha raidou devil summoner game , Wite knight story , and any other future rpg catching my eye .

Tales of Vesperia looks really good but Infinite Undiscovery doesn't look that good, that game it's going to be a bigger flop than Too Human. Mark my words.

namco is so stupid...
this game would sell like hot cakes in japan if it were on ps3! and would put ps3 on front of wii for 2 weeks or 3 again...
this game looks very intersting i would love to play it!
