Its quite plausable that people have concerns about the game?
If you watched the video and thought it looked bad, surely you'd be right to disagree with someone stating it looked good. Or are people not allowed to have a different opinion?

I know there are people who just randomly hit disagree to everything, but thats not the case with every disagree. Soemtimes its beacause people....well......disagree!

5.3 - You're partially right Tintin.
However when someone such as name gets disagrees for "I like.", it is purely bias against the poster, not what was posted. You can disagree with "That looks great!" because it may not look great to you. You can't, at least with any logic behind it, disagree with "I like.". I suppose you may truly believe they don't like it when they say they do. People on this site click disagree to questions. "What time does E3 start?". "I disagree." doesn't make much sense does it? BTW, I shall own Fable 2 also. Hopefully there will be at least 1 chicken to kick.

I really really want this game to be good and I will get it and no doubt play it for days.

BUT, I did see some things in the video that gave me cause for concern.
The level of fogging suggests theres is an issue with engine draw distance. If you have a great draw distance, you don't fog.

The levels were all constricted 'corridoor spaces' and the game looked as linear in path as the original title, and that was one of the issues for me. Not only does it mean you feel you are on 'rails', but it means combat is almost always in a tight corridorcorridor section, which is not ideal for anything other than simple button mashing.
Enemies displayed not an ounce of intelligence and appeared to be little more than 'level up punch bags'.

Of course its looks pretty, and I'm sure their will loads of amazing features, but at its heart its a leveling up adventure and I'm hoping for more 'open world game play' and exploration rather than the linear paths we've glimpsed here.

I know I'll get disagrees for asking questions, but I'd appreciate it if anyone could reply and tell me why I shouldn't be concerned! I do want it to be brilliant! :)

The fog is just a weather effect. If you watch the Lionhead video diaries on Live, they talk about P. Molyneux renting a fog machine so they could study it's look. If you check out the video below, you will see that you are worrying for nothing.

Lol fogging due to lack of draw distance, you sure know your stuff

I guess that draw distance has to end somewhere but clearly the engine is capable of rendering stuff fairly far off

Tinntin, you echoed my sentiments exactly.

I want Fable 2 to be a good game as well but that just did not look "next gen" at all. There were very tight pathways and you really did feel like you only had one direction to go. The AI on the enemies was not awe inspiring or (from the looks of it) challenging in the least. I was expecting a lot more from this game.

The fog is similar to the one in silent hill 2. Which everyone basically suspected was put there just to disguise the draw distance, but it did add to the atmosphere of the game.
