I noticed.One thing that is interesting is that GTA 4 is just so boring.I was among the hardcore GTA fans who could'nt wait for GTA4.But it was so boring single player and online that I could not really stand it anymore.I got the 360 version and the PS3 version cheap but I can't get excited for this series anymore

I never got into past GTA games. A few of my friends that were GTA fans for years all thought IV was a huge disappointment. I am the only one in my group of friends that finished the game.

I picked it up for both system too. I didn't finish the PS3 version yet. The game definitely lacked variety and depth. After getting a third of the way through the game it seemed that one mission just blurred into the next. The only thing I enjoyed was the story and some of the characters. Nikko and Brucie had me laughing out loud more than a couple times.

I was going to sell off the 360 copy a long time ago but I would be dumb enough to go out and repurchase it when the DLC hits XBL. I have done this before more than once. So now I am trying to hold on to my games now instead of trading them in or getting rid of them on eBay. I just hope I am not completely disappointed with the DLC when it arrives.

Most likely I would wait for user reviews or feedback from friends before purchasing GTAV.

Now on topic- I was really dissapointed with GTAIV, stopped playing it. I plan to go back and finish it (and hear it gets much better as it goes) but I doubt I would invest the time for any DLC additions.

I'm definitely interested to see what R* do though, $50 mil is a lot of maoney and I doubt that is just for a bunch of new missions.

You are not going to get those things for free, and I believe you knew that. There isn't a developer in existence that would give away 50mil dollars worth of content for free. $50mil is more than what it costs to develope, box, and ship alot of games.

I just thought of something, wasn't Vice City, and San Andreas considered expansions of GTA3? This content could go above and beyond expectation.

I've already sold my copy, as it quickly got boring. Even if this DLC is a bunch of really fun stuff to do (jetpacks, tanks, REAL attack choppers), I'll just rent it to play the new stuff.

But being it's probably just more of the same old missions types, I likely won't have to.

if the expansion is anything like the game that is... i too was waiting a long time for this game... i even left work early to get it and play it.. but i was very very disappointed.. the single player was boring and repetitive and the multi was well.. just boring... and repetitive.. i traded it in in the first month while i could still get max value for it.. and i dont know many people that still have this crap game sitting around.. so i wouldnt consider it a big loss...

yeah, they really over estimated the popularity of GTA IV, it was number one in the charts for 1 month, and after that it didnt even make the top 10, they should have invested the 50 million into a new exclusive game, what would you rather have, a 2-4 hour expansion, or a full exclusive game?

On top of that, around that time, we'll be getting an improved version of Bioshock, Little Big Planet, and Resistance 2; which will be occupying our time until Killzone 2, Infamous, Heavy Rain, and other games comes out.

Besides, San Andreas was the best one anyways... This one was great, but SA is the king of the franchise, which is why it seems like Niko will be taking a visit there.

Everybody on my friends list used to be on gta4. But after a game gets so much hype it's bound to disappoint . I think the biggest let down on gta4 was the online mode which should have been like burnout paradise. The fact of the matter is liberty city stories (multyplayer) was much more fun than gta4 online.

1. The PS3 version WAS in SD (whatever gave you THAT idea).
2. Whoever said PS3 wouldn't get anything? Certainly not Rockstar (they even said it was VERY likely, saying that it's all but official that Sony would get something).
3. This is the Bitbag and a blog that reported this. You have any idea how much the cred of the Bitbag has been damaged (or at least most of them, HipHopGamer is their only bright spot right now) recently? And why would we take a blog's word for it? They've got this kind of stuff wrong before...BIG time, and then backpedaled when they got caught (Torrence DOES represent the site, which is why I say "they" instead of "he").
4. Tordavis was really acting as though he really wanted what he reported to be 100% correct about the DLC.
5. In case you don't realize it, many 360 owners of GTA4 thought the same thing ABOUT the game being not as good as the other GTAs in the past. Please realize that not everyone that didn't like GTA4 is a "Sony Defense Force" person, nor are they just angry about the DLC issue (as if it WAS an issue since Rockstar has expressed they will give Sony DLC, too).
6. The entire deal was for two episodes only. It was all YOU fanboys that were insisting that we believe the deal was for something MORE, not anyone else.
