Well Too Human is the first real big exclusive for the 360 since....since,..well, ages. Since last year i think. So of course this games gonna get all the focus and will get hyped and expected to be awesome. Thats what happens when theres a lack of AAA games about

2.3 - It's kinda unfortunate for everyone who doesn't like RPG's right now.

The 360 has some great RPG's coming and also on the system already, which is more than I can say for my PS3.

PS3 is getting a better version of Eternal Sonata, though, so that's a start. White Knight Story should rock.

Infinite Undiscovery, Tales of Vesperia, and Fable 2 this year on 360, though.

Viva Piñata 2 coming this year with Banjo. Not much else for 360.

Yep, that's about it.

Star Ocean 4 next year, I think. More RPG's. Yay!

I, for one, love all these RPG's. Except Fable which will have to prove itself to me. It didn't hold my attention for too long.

PS3 will have Resistance 2, LBP, Infamous and KZ2 on the horizon with God of War 3. Definitely looking forward to these more.

And if Motorstorm 2 can really do a lot more than the first then that will be one I get, too.

Wii doesn't have much this fall, but next year there's lots to look forward to.

edit: Actually don't think Infamous is coming this fall, but I'm looking forward to it, anyway.

Yea, that's why I didn't mention it.

Plus, it's a big let down after the first one and really buggy.

I traded mine in for Devil May Cry 4, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Tales of Symphonia, and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.

I guess you completely ignored Ninja Gaiden 2. When was the last PS3 AAA title before MGS4? Sometime last year with Uncharted.

I know you will say that NG2 was not a AAA title. Just remember, it has a higher Metacritic avg(81) than Gran Turismo 5: Prologue(80), Heavenly Sword(79) and is at the same avg as Siren and only one point below Motorstorm.

IMO the number of awesome multiplat titles outweigh the importance of the exclusive titles. Games like Battlefield: Bad Company, Condemned 2, Soul Calibur IV and Top Spin 3 have kept me busy.

MGS4 was the first exclusive PS3 game in almost two years of the PS3's age to get rated on or over 90% average. THE FIRST ONE

The 360 got NG2 last month. Heck, even just a XBL Arcade game gets an average rating that's almost as high as the highest PS3 exclusive retail game:

Wii has Madworld, Monster Hunter 3, Tales of Symphonia 2, possibly Deadly Creatures, Animales de la Muerte, No More Heroes 2, mushroom men, dokapon kingdom, Tenchu IV, Fatal Frame IV, de Blob, Obouro Youtouden Muramasa, The Conduit, Little King's Story, and the new Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (the first was amazing if you had 3 friends with GBA's).

@Mart or Jenzo: will you name me the exclusive 360 titles other than Fable 2, Tales of Vesperia, Star Ocean 4, Viva Piñata 2, Banjo, Infinite Undiscovery in the upcoming year and early next year?

Multi-platform games are better than ever, but the 360 is lacking in the exclusive release department.

Also, metacritic averages do not mean everything. You have to factor in +5/-5 for each game, play them for yourself, and then decide which you like better if you really want to know which is better than the other. I tend to keep all the games I really enjoy and I know which I like more than others and usually about how much more, but I tend not to compare them so much.

I will say that NG2 isn't a TRIPLE A game, but it's a solid C+/B- in my estimation. I don't have a definition between A and AAA, though, so your mileage will vary.

And since you named Uncharted and MGS4 (I'd put Ratchet & Clank in), will you go ahead and name the triple A exclusives on 360?

Halo 3, Ninja Gaiden 2 (yuck), Viva Piñata (?), Crackdown (I really like this game and Saints Row before it, but GTA IV killed them both for me, Crackdown is still cool sometimes, though), Forza 2, Dead or Alive 4, Geometry Wars 2, Braid. Most people will debate most of the titles on this list and these really seem to be the only candidates. Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon were good, but I don't know anyone who'd argue that they are triple-A material.

I'd take Uncharted, MGS4, and Ratchet (Warhawk, too) over all of em now that GTA IV is out if I had to pick between PS3 and 360 (though Geometry Wars 2 is really damn good, so is Braid).

Remember also that Gears is on PC, Mass Effect is also on PC (both Gears and Mass Effect are arguably better on a good PC, though I play both on 360), and Dead Rising is coming to Wii (I'll skip it and keep holding onto my 360 version). Ikaruga, Rez, Soul Calibur and Symphony of the Night are cool if you've never played them (or if you have and don't have those systems anymore), but they're all on other systems and Symphony of the Night is on PSN.

Too Human had 2 things going for it to further propel the hype train: Platform exclusivity and a very talkative developer. Both of those combinations has led to a high profile. I know another game that has that same mix of ingredients (cough GeoW2 cough). Though I suspect the latter game to do much better with the critics and fans.

it does seem that 360 games get blanket acceptance by reviewers and mostly high priase

some games worthy of 85 are getting a silly number of 100's

whereas some games more deserving of said scores are getting knocked back just by being on ps3
such as the onions review of uncharted without that 67 its score would have been 90-94

unfair review kill scores
i dont think halo 3shoul have gotten 14 100s
but still enough withtoo human

Very, very tired.

I'm sick of this game and haven't even played it yet. I'm sick of Dyack telling me I'm wrong if I think its crap cos I just dont "get it."

I dont know much but I knows what I likes. I dont need a pompus Knob telling me I must be stupid cos I think his game which obviously had to have lost direction at some point to drag out that long, sucks.

Anyway, I'm sure it will still sell a million. Seems some sites cant wait to stick up for Xbox to prop up the metascore, just the way some couldn't wait to take it down for some of PS3's big games. A few actually gave it 9's *chuckle*. And there are enough Xbox zealots who will buy it just to prove its good. Plus they've got nothing else to play this year, except Braid apparently.

If a PS3 game had be in developement for so long and hyped to this level, only to be "meh" it would get sh*tcanned by every site around. But because its Xbox its still ok. We're the ones who are wrong. We dont get it.

Im tired all together about ANY freaking game that gets way long winded... Halo i havent heard much about anymore, and when i do its always something new that I have never heard about yet.. MGS4 i was starting to get annoyed about but that dropped low too... now TOO HUMAN ugh played the Demo didnt get much into it just shut up about it they way overhyped it and if its that amazing the gamers will let us know... I hate when people say something is soo amazing and when i go to play it its not even close to amazing because they freaking hyped it too much

Into perspective a moment. Ninja Gaiden 2 flopped, Too Human flopped and those were 2 of the biggest exclusives Micro had going for them. Hell, Ninja Gaiden 2 didn't even outsell Sigma for the ps3.

Fable is going to be great and Gears will sell, so they're even up I'm sure.

Shame. I was looking forward to it, too.

Fable 2 could flop. I mean, theres always a chance that any game will flop. I don't remember the first fable doing that great. It was epic, but didn't really sell that well. Besides 360, doesn't have fable 2 as an exclusive. Its going to be on the pc. PC is a platform so it counts. Its microsoft exclusive at best.
