Vigilante 8 enters XBLA certification

V8: Arcade, the XBLA re-imagining of the Vigilante 8 series, has finally been submitted to Microsoft for certification, which means the game should arrive in late summer or early autumn.

i have one question. why on earth is this game able to sell for 800 micro points, but braid is 1,200? i dont get how the pricing goes online. braid is good dont get me wrong. but it looks like a suped up snes game. while V8 looks realy realy good. plus online co op. also, bionick commando is only 800 points too. i would get braid but not at that price,i think there is some splaining to do lucy.

Wow I really liked this game back in the PS1 days. I cant really seem to find any info on it though. This was Twisted Metals best competition. The missions were pretty fun too.

i loved Twisted Metal and Vigilante 8 on PS1, the former for the gameplay and the latter for the graphics :)

Damn, I sure wish this game would come out on the PSN because I remember I had it for my Playstation years ago and loved it but lost track of it... I guess I'll just have to track down a copy online... I still have Vigilante 8 2nd Offense for the Playstation... both were awesome car combat games. It would be awesome if some game studio came out with a next-gen Vigilante 8 game for the PS3/360 because it would be the perfect rival for the next-gen PS3 Twisted Metal game from Eat, Sleep, Play.

Agreed. So looking forward to this one! With Bionic Commando, Braid and Castle Crashers all coming in the span of a few weeks I hope V8 comes out a bit later. Too much to play!

Agreed. I was surprised when Symphony of the Night and Soul Calibur hit live.

It just gets better! And the addition of xbox originals was pretty cool.

Just wish jet grind radio future and Silent hill 2: restless dreams and Panzer dragoon orta were on the list, too.
