It's not really a majority of PS3 owners that give us(being a PS3 fan myself)a bad name, just the ones that do are bloody loud. Microsoft fanboys and Sony fanboys are about equal when it comes to the moron spectrum from what I've seen, it just depends on what day of the week you show up. That said, most intelligent gamers can sit back and enjoy games regardless of what platform they are on.

EDIT: @1.6 Yeahhh, when typing that out I was thinking in the back of my head "I wonder how many people are going to completely mistake what I'm saying here..."

Also there has been a rumor going around that the film is back on with a new script. This could be for the game that Jackson is working on also.

Hopefully it does get support from some top studios like WB and Paramount. I know a lot of studios are looking for the next big movie franchise and Halo could be it. Halo has a big following and it could make a lot of money. So Sony Pictures better get this movie j/k. Hahahahaha how ironic would that be.

That wold be wonderful if the story was incredible because Halo hasn't been know for the best story. A great story could help push franchise to a new level.

i would really like that to happen.
i loved Halo 1 but after 2 it just got really dumb.
but they were focusing on MP than SP so i guess that's why.

if Peter Jackson can revive the story telling i will get back into Halo.

Couldn't agree more. I loved the part in Halo3 when it got a little bit darker (attack of the floods) and almost felt like a survival horror game because you had to watch your ammo of the flametrower or otherwise it would become difficult (you can play the game on easy too, but that's boring). Putting more of it in the game would definatly add more fun in part 4 (or Peter J. project)

I too am a PS3 owner and even I notice that the Halo franchise and Halo 3 especially is always criticized and used as an example for negative comment against the 360. Half the time no one mentions Halo and a fanboy would usually put it down out of nowhere. Though I'm not singling out Sony fanboys, 360 fanboys are the same.

Shouldn't it be bungie doing the hiring and not mgs, unless this is a devation from the main series.

As for the halo movie, i don't ever see it getting made, last i heard ms was wanting to much money from it's partners poured into the movie and not putting the same in themselves.

However good halo might be, and as much as i like scifi shooter movies, i think halo if made will be another generic scifi shooter movie(only with alot of good special effects).

Video game movies in general suck ass(the resident evils were okay), i am even leery about the metal gear solid movie that has been announced, hopefully it isn't live action.

While a halo movie could be good(if they do make it, ill bet the book is alot better), i don't have any hopes for video game movies in general, even less for a fps game based movie.
