Fable 2 launches Oct 21 in US; Oct 24 in EU

Today, Microsoft Game Studios and Lionhead Studios announced that the highly anticipated action role-playing game "Fable II" will ship to U.S. retailers on Oct. 21, 2008 and European retailers on Oct. 24, with subsequent release dates throughout the rest of the world in the coming months. Combining thrilling action, heart-wrenching emotional experiences and a genre-bending Xbox LIVE multiplayer mode, "Fable II" is the must-have blockbuster for 2008.

I wonder how this will go up against Fallout3. They both look to be good and I wonder if Fallout3 will effect Fable2's sales? Either way, I would buy fable if I had a d*mn 360. Looks to be good.

Why is this coming out in the US first when Lionhead's studio is in Guildford, England? The game itself features proper english voices and the like, it makes no sense. I understand most of these games coming out in the US first, but is a worldwide release (at least) out of the question? Wierd. Did the first come out in the S first? My guess is because of Microsoft studios.

I'm really not sure if I can afford to buy so many awesome games coming out this year lol. Damn, on my list to get:

Gears of War 2
Far Cry 2 (for the PC)
Littlebigplanet
Left 4 Dead (for the PC, Valve's games are always best on PC)
Motorstorm 2
Banjo Kazooie 3
Resistance 2
Fable 2
Crysis Warhead

Might of missed some others but there is alot of good games coming out this year on all platforms.
