they couldve made Vader wayyyyyyyyyy betta. Im overall displeased wit this SC as i unlike the previous ones. All the chars seem meh except for a notable few and i dont even wanna kno wth is goin on wit the story. smh But i still love the game.

sc4 is not about the story. its mainly for versus, and now online play. i love the online mode cuz it doesnt lag at all. maybe for like 2 seconds every 100 match. but that real good to achieve for a fighting game online. i love soul calibur 4. i need some challenge online...my gamertag is flexbocks360 ...add me i need some competition. i hate the frikkin noobs

Yeah but I guess it's just my initial impressions. My friend swears it's one of the greatest games and kept telling me to get it. So now I got it. I guess I just need to have more time with it.

One thing's for sure, I hope other developers take heed of what kind of graphics can be done for fighting games.

9.1 - They are identical.
PS3 has Darth Vader as a unique character and the Xbox 360 gets Yoda. It is 100% preferance, you can't go wrong with either version.

Not so much that nobody wants Yoda....but we as gamers tend to want all the options available to us. Why settle for a gimped version of anything when it is possible for the developer to give us the full thing? If I had the ps3 version I would want Yoda as well....nothing wrong with wanting variety. Besides...each version having all available characters gives less fuel for these "my system has the better version" wars.

I was going to go a different direction, but you pretty much made another argument for me. Your argument would leave me to believe that the 360 got the lesser character....and if that is the case, then indeed the 360 got a gimped/nicked version of the game.......because it has one less of a functional character than it's ps3 counterpart. And why do you think this has anything to do with Microsoft being out of touch with the SW community? Do not see how from a marketing standpoint, the black playstation would go with Vader, while the white and green of the 360 corresponds with Yoda?

this is the worst "NEWS" ever. if anyone recall before the game is out long time ago during the developement phrase. There's already a video showing both Vadar n Yoda. This doesnt prove anything than how stupid the one who summited this news is. Why dont I put it another way around. Someone could have posted this article and says that Yoda is going to PS3 too. Stop being so naive. If you are really so desperate for Vadar then go get a PS3. if not just WAIT. as I believe namco would be kind enough to give Yoda to PS3 users in exchange for Vadar. Althou I know most ppl aint interested in Yoda.

Well my friend will be happy to hear this b/c he's a Xbox gamer. But i'm a PS3 gamer and i don't have to worry about playing as Darth Vader or not b/c Darth Vader is playable in Soul Calibur IV of the PS3 version.

I personally think that they should have scrapped Yoda for the 360 version due to his height and tried to get Obi-Wan Kenobi which would make more sense: he's part of the "light" side plus he's also taller and would be about the same height as Vader, so I think that would balance the game out more.
