I cant read the letter due 2 being at work, but i just got this game the other day for my ps3. i havent played it much but it seems ok so far. im going to enjoy it at the least as i have never played a half life game before.

There are 3 companys I don't like

1. Microsoft
2. Valve
3. EA

Valve seem to dislike change and they should watch this. If you can watch it for the 10 minutes you can see how valve fit in to this.

so why exactly did the ps3 version suck ass , and the 360 version was perfect 60 frames? cause it takes alot longer to develop for ps3. blame sony for making the ps3 so hard to develop for and not the developers with limited time and budget.

VALVe is to blame. Gabe stated all along that the time and effort needed to program for PS3 was not worth it at the time (no middleware, crap support from Sony, small install base, etc.) But when EA signed on as publisher, THEY made the decision to port Orange Box to PS3.

EA/VALVE were pretty damn lazy with The Orange Box, it's a fantastic game on a good PC, where I think if It had stayed it would have saved a lot of hassle for everyone.

Source is seriously outdated, the fact I heard the 360 version of the orange box was running 95-98% of the 360's full power is bullshit. I'd stick to playing Valve games on the PC, where they truly shine!

I don't like the 360 But I don't mind MS much. As for this game Treat it like any other game, if its broken then don't buy it and play somthing else.There is no reason to get upset over it.

People hate MS but hey, it's just a group of people living the American Dream. MS was started in a garage, for christ's sake. You can't tell me you aren't somewhat envious of them. If you could do it, you would, and your company would probably be in the same position MS is in. I don't see why people hate MS. Bill Gates gives millions of dollars to charity, more than a lot of corporations.

As for Valve, their games consistantly rank among the highest rated PC games ever. Half Life is f#cking amazing. It is truly a work of art.

Valve is a relatively small studio. I can see where they want to focus on PC and 360. Dont' hate them because they don't want to develop for PS3. I don't hate Naughty Dog or NCSoft for developing for PS3

and all fanboys alike, never cease to amaze me. This is a great letter or whatever because its pro Ps3? Give me a break. This is just another fanboy trying to get some attention. If you don't want EA games or games made by valve then make it clear by not buying the game for the PS3. People buy the game for the PS3, and then what, complain? I am sure EA or valve cares. These companies, MSFT, Sony, or Nintendo, don't care about you. They never will. They all want to make money. 2500 people crying about a game isn't going to do anything when the game sells half a million copies. Please stop thinking that any of these companies actually care about you more than selling the product to you, because they don't. They are all businesses and they want to make money, they don't want to make friends, just money. I know you think, "but they released this new game and supported it" yeah so people will buy the next or pay for the next episode, not because they give a crap about any of us. None of these companies care, they just want you to buy.

Its all about STEAM...they want everyone, and I mean everyone on STEAM, so they can control the entirety of the cash flow. They can't on the consoles, so maybe if they release HORRIBLE BUGGY products to the consoles, they can convince you to come to the PC and spend your money on STEAM!! They have a HUGE vested interest in the PC now with STEAM, don't forget that. I will NEVER expect a good product from them on the consoles EVER, simply because of STEAM!!

the xbots blame the PS3 for being a pice of crap but in reality its that fat ass Gabe F***ing Newell's, Valve's, and EA's fault.
The 360 version of the Orange box is just slightly better then the PS3 version, but still a pice of crap compaired to the PC version.
