2 - I like it.
I think its a great break away method from the "WOW look at the graphics" factor. Even if its the story being told in 2D, its a great change in atmosphere in the game. I have to say they have a great art direction where they are taking this.

6.1 - To be fair
Folklore wasn't animated, it was comic book style, with no voices or anything. It was boring :/

That being said, I'm not looking forward to this. Hopefully they get better animators than the ones that did the trailer, cause some movements were quite bad (running especially)

I have to say i don't really like the 2-D animation for storytelling. Well at least not of that quality. It reminds me of a E-Surance commercial and less like a video cinematic. I'm high impressed with the voice acting though from that trailer. Sounds like a perfect match for Faith and the performance is delivered in a very convincing manner.

The Trailer they released sucked so if they are doing something similar I'm really sad. Mirror's Edge is close to the top of my list of games I really wanna see and this just kinda put it down the list a little.

with 2d cutscences.

The cutscences accounts for 20-30% of my love for that game.
