Interested in seeing how this game is after the poor showing last year. 60fps is a major reason I'll consider getting back into Madden. I can't believe I actually made it the whole year without 08 lol.

5 - Another suck tastic year of Madden
This year im not buying for a few reasons:

Ive already heard the college version is borked with many glitches.

It sounds like Madden 2010 should be great

EA sucks

Bought 07 and 08 thus far on next gen consoles (07 on ps3 08 on 360) and both really arent great. 08 isnt bad but man go online and its glitches r us ...

I love football so much and honestly the last reason is i just want something to change. If that means i have to miss out then so be it. Im tired of this garbage..

Heres my predicition:

Madden 09 will ship but huge glitches for both consoles both will need to be patched (sliders not working, kick off returns out of control, fatigue once again broke).. As well I imagine there will be glitches in the actual gameplay like for instance (onside kicks in 08, brady to moss, player catch, etc)

And of course the always lovely beating the snot out of someone just to have the mysterious "connection ended".. Or how about the tards that start games then leave, have you stupid crap heads not figured how to fix this yet? DNF was a joke.

OH AND FIGURE OUT HOW TO FREAKING DRAW STRAIGHT GOAL POSTS YOU FREAKING IDIOTS. APPLY WHATEVER ANTI ALIASING YOU HAVE TO BECAUSE THAT IS JUST RIDICULOUS! and if you cant then you shouldnt be able to hold the only license.

Stop claiming 3d grass by the way, what you have is a flat ass texture, maybe one day in your wildest dreams you might be able to pull off a whole field of real grass (maybe 10 years from now) but stop acting like you are rendering each blade of grass, you are not!

On a positive note at least it does come out every year, although obviously quality is sacrificed.

I wasn't even that disappointed with 08 for the 360. The actual game itself was good, but not great. Its the players themselves online that ruined it for me. There is so much glitching now I don't even bother playing half as much as I used to.

People use the same money plays, glitches and nanos all game. They run the same 4-5 cheap exploit plays over and over, and when you figure out how to stop all of them and shut them down and are winning in the fourth quarter, they just do the connection interrupted cheat and the game ends with no result. If ea finds a way to get rid of all the glitches I'll gladly pick up 09, but without that its just not worth it anymore. As or right now, my typical madden game is spending close to an hour playing each game tactically shutting down gimmick plays and glitches, and if I win, 9 times out of 10 they disconnect glitch and it doesn't count as a win. Its so rare to find a player who'll actually play real football and won't cheat. You can't blame that on ea entirely, but they have to do something to try to fix the exploits.
