On topic though, 360 version does look better in this comparassion, but was weird cause in the GT comparssion both versions looked the same. But when playing both versions side by side (well the demo at least) The PS3 demo seemed to be more "brighter" but didnt look washed out like in this vid, but I did prefer the look of the 360 version though on my TV.

So idk, haven't picked this game up though but if I do I'll def get it for 360 cause I prefer the controller for shooters and the online community as well (people w/ mics compared to noone w/ mics on psn lol) Most likely gonna wait till they patch in Conquest mode then gonna see how many of my friends are playing it as well since I didn't like that Gold Rush mode mode that much in the beta & demo

Well I'm looking at my ps3 version right now, I'm in a little further section a head but my version looks alot brigher than thier ps3 version. If this is true I think you have to look at the developers because I know the ps3 is capable of displaying brighter colors than that.

many tvs doesnt support the "rgb full" setting. i have two lcd tvs, one of them supports full rgb, the other doesnt.

it DOES look like the video when you put rgb mode to "full" if your tv doesnt support it.

i think most of the reviewers dont know at all if their tv set supports rgb full.

so, i give a f**k about these comparisons. i know that it doesnt look like the video when you are using the correct settings.

It's true the settings aren't correct.
I have the demo and it definitely looks better than that video.
if you don't believe me, find a PS3 ( your friend's, your family member's) and download the demo and make sure the settings are correct.

After that compare it to the video.

I work as a film/video editor and the black level in the PS3 video has the tell tale signs of the black level set too high (low contrast and desaturated colors). It looks like if I measured the black level in the PS3 video they would be around 7.5 IRE where they should be at 0 IRE. I have to deal with that situation quite a bit when I work.

There's 2 graphical settings on the Ps3 that changes color and white levels. When you first get a Ps3 in the settings it's set so that the Dynamic Color Range is set to limited instead of full. Also there's a Super White option in the settings that boosts the white levels in games. I haven't seen much improvement with super white turned on myself but there is definitely a noticeable difference when Dynamic Color Range is set to Full. The Color seems to pop more and be more livelier i wish i could find a screenshot to show you the difference.

It is an amazing coincidence that whenever the PS3 games don't look as good as the 360 games, the reason is that the video settings have been purposely messed up. ( by leprechauns, most likely?)

You MUST be talking about games like Devil May Cry 4, Burnout: Paradise,COD4 (which is much more stable and is on dedicated servers on the PS3) and I could have sworn people preferred the controls of the PS3 with regards to GTAIV.. and I know the 360 fanboys must have LOVED the texture pop-ins. I wasn't gonna say anything, but since when does CoD4 run on dedicated servers for a console? Have you ever been playing a game and all of a sudden you get "HOST ENDED GAME" or once you finish a game you get "LOBBY CLOSED". If you say no you're a liar. Both 360 and PS3 do P2P for CoD4 MP.

The only sony games that run on DS are Warhawk, Resistance and I believe Motorstorm. To my knowledge no third party MP game runs on DS for either 360 or PS3.

So maybe someone should be taking their own advice of "Doing Research"

they got found out. Its in their best interest to be as fair as they can since the couple incidents. Doesn't mean i trust them to be fair all of the time but the clip riot just showed seems to make the versions look the same.

between the 2 versions like this Gametrailers video shows. I knew it for myself because I have both versions in my home and have played them both extensively on and offline.

The only thing
eurogamer and others that show a difference is how fanboyish they are to adjust them to make them look different. Anyone that has clue one about audio and video know you have to adjust you equipment for each source running to them. It's called calibration. All of my displays and sound systems have their own PS3 and 360 settings/ channels pre adjusted for both consoles.

I just wish Dice and EA would get off their @ss and fix this freaking game. I am about to give up and move on.

I find it strange that the Eurogamer comparison shows the PS3 washed out. While the Gametrailers one shows the 360 version slightly washed out. While textures, animations, explosions, everything else looks identical.

And this given the fact that most PS3 games that were compared on gametrailers was always the washed out one. Seeing this comparison surprised me. So what's up with Eurogamer's comparison?

never played the muti player as I didn't have access to the beta, I was expecting something a little faster and more action packed I thought it was a little cheesy and unfunny and I was a bit disappointed after the great looking trailer cod 4 serves my need for online war games so the single player experience was important to get me to purchase this game.

I demo nearly every game I buy so if the demo's not my thing it's a no buy for me

because of the beta I didn't even look for the multiplayer option (I know how stupid this sounds) and anyway I have had some pretty bad experiences with EA serves in the past so I never buy EA games for online play FIFA was laggy as hell and other EA games have been poor even with the 10meg connection I have.
and I'd need to download it again 20gig HDD ain't big enough to have load of music and demo's on I'm going to have to have a big clear out in time for E3

If they tried to make the 360 version better, they failed. PS3 version looks more realistic, I'm not into that comic look the 360 version sports. Turning super white, anti aliasing and HDMI full RGB on on the PS3 would make it even look more superior.

Those graphics arent possible on 360.Im sorry.but they really arent.
