Konami to Unveil "Key" Titles at Leipzig

Konami issued a press release today to detail their Leipzig Games Convention line-up. Set for August 20th-24th, Konami plans to show off already announced games like Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 and Silent Hill Homecoming. They also plan to "use the event to unveil a selection of new, unannounced titles for the first time."

Speculations?

An uncredited quote tagged the end of the press release with some hints at the direction their headed for these unveiled titles:

Konami goes into this year's Games Convention with a very, very strong line-up that mixes familiar titles with exciting new concepts," commented Martin Schneider, Sales and Marketing Director Germany for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. "This year will see more of the fruits of our excellent European RnD push, in addition to stunning titles from Japan. As such, we feel Konami will deliver one of the most diverse and imaginative product lines-ups of the show, and look forward to unveiling our new titles in Leipzig.

I highly doubt it, though I am right there with you. There hasn't been hardly any 3d Schmups since ZOE2.

2 - Whatever Kojima
has been working on since MGS4 got done. With the little stuff in MGS4, I think it pretty safe to infer that it may be a new Policenauts.

3 - All I want Konami...
...is Zone of the Enders 3. Please do me the favor of making this title known in August, if not at E3.
