"Yea scorpion is going to do a fatality" then all of a sudden they show flashbacks but they don't show Scorpion doing the fatality in the new game!

LMAO Bring back Tobais, and fire Ed Boon.

Engine looks promising, but I said that back when deadly alliance was revealed. It seems they finally got rid of weapons (Thank god) yet know alot of people have EPHING TELEPORTATION MOVES!

I didn't know Subzero can teleport using ice ;)

Of course a REAL and M rated game would have been ages better than this. The reason me and many others are praising it is for what it is:
A T rated Spin-off and NOT a serious game and most importantly, not a real / new Mortal Kombat. It's just MK vs DC. Like Marvel vs Capcom. That had nothing to do with legendary Street Fighter games or Resident Evil and such.

Once again Ed boon brings out pointless Gimmicks!

Just like Weapons, 3 fighting stances, and Create-a--unbalanced-fighter and my favorite Create-a-fatality.

The stuff looks good in video but once you do it once it gets old fast.

MK-red please send him the memo: 1)Make new Fighting engine with cool combos 2)Make different types of finishers 3) Bring back gore.

11 - No M-rating = Weak sauce.

It looks like MK is trying to copy God of War with it's brutal hits and take no prisoner action. The only problem is you can't be truely brutal without a M rating. I don't care how they spin it, a Mortal Kombat game is supposed to be about over the top, no mercy violence, and you can't get that with a teen game.

Everytime a character win the match without killing the other guy in some unspeakable explosion of blood and gore this game fails.

Ask yourself this, how good would GTA4 be without a M-rating? It would suck. You know this, Rockstar knows this, everyone know. Everyone except the dev of MK vs DC.

WTF are you talking about MK copying brutal moves and take no prisoners!?!?
Seriously, MK has been the front runner of violence, over the top balls to the walls action and brutality. I'm a God of War fan but their finisher moves are actually a tribute to Mortal Kombat fatalities.

Everything in MK vs DC is copied from previous MK games but is beefed up a bit (And toned down for the stupid T rating).

You need to watch the MK vs DC vids again to see what I'm talking about. In the old MK, Subzero would uppper cut some clown and the said clown would be sent flying across the room spraying blood. That part is all MK. But MK vs DC is just a little different this time. Its no longer violence, but how the combat moves to deliver that violence is animated. There is a weight and exaggerated muscle gravity that is very similar to God of War.

Dude, the muscle gravity and brutality was added in MK: Deadly Alliance and was perfected in MK: Deception. I'm a God of War fan myself but seriously, even the people that didn't like this new MK vs DC vid here say that the everything looks like previous 3D MK games which were all based on Deadly Alliance which came out 3 years before God of War.

Looking good but I am still kind of thrown off by the whole MK vs DC thing. I wonder if they will have a demo of the game before the full version comes out in November. I think I would be more at ease if I had some hands on time, to see how it actually plays.

Just finished watching the whole thing. OMG, withing next few week they're gonna show Fallout 3! Geff says at the ending "The biggest world exclusives including Gears of War 2, Resistance 2... and FALLOUT 3!!".

Yeah baby, my Fallout 3 love is restored. I know it won't be the worthy sequel Fallout 2 deserves but a even if it can reach 1 percent of that classic's greatness, it's gonna pwn every other 2008 game.

Just watched it......seems the animation of the characters look exactly like the previous 3d MKs, i.e stiff and rigid. In fact the graphics aren't a huge leap to be honest. For some reason, it reminds me of the fights that I saw on youtube with Armageddon's create-a-fighter mode.

If I do get it, it'll be when the price is bargain bin amount as there's other fighting games that are going to get my money first (I'm looking at you Soul Calibur 4, Tekken 6 and Streetfighter 2 HD :))

Currently waiting to see this rumored Killer Instinct game at E3. If this is true, I hope it lives up to it's pedigree.

To be honest, I actually hope it isn't true, as I'll have to buy another console for this one bloody game lol

this isnt that bad...i love how sub zero kicked the sh!t out of superman...i mean its T-rated...but at least its good...and when did midway take the 3d effect? the graphics look amazing, even the background...superman's cape was swaying with his every move...this game may not fail like it was intended, hopefully they release a demo in October, because i am still not convinced yet

I can't wait for this game. And whoever it was who said it looks like ass and the gameplay looks sketchy. Well considering we are in the month of JULY and the game is not released till NOVEMBER which is 5 MONTHS from now. Yeah I thought so.

For me I like the way it looks and the gritty feel to the kombat. Can't wait to see what other characters they will be adding to this.

The fighting looks just like MK:DA, D, and A....JUST like them.

Stiff, mechanical, not fluid whatsoever. If release is in November, I doubt they'll implement physics and something like Euphoria, so I think I'll pass. If we get a demo I'll check it out, but if the game continues shaping up like this, won't even rent it.

Great looking graphics though, but that's where the positives stop. Talk about rigid and robotic animations...

Graphics look good, but the animation looks very similar to all the other 3D MK games that came out before it. I may get it after the price drops or cheap on EBay, but I'm not paying full price for it. MK fighting action is too stiff and awkward compared to games like Virtua Fighter 5 and Soul Calibur 4. It was never one of my favorite series. Hurry up and release Killer Instinct 3 already.

I really don't understand how or why people are saying that this game or the Deadly Alliance, Deception, or Amraggedon or are not fluid. I can't really speak for the new game but I still regularly play all three of those games on my PS3. I can honestly say those are some of the most fluid games I have ever played. And I own all the other soul caliber and tekken games. Now like that one guy said. There is still a lot of stuff that they can do to tweak what already looks like to be a phenomenal game. They haven't even show the clothes ripping or hitting off masks or hats. They havent shown any blood on knuckles or bruises. There is still alot to see. Just sit tight. It looks great

For some reason I was not interested in this game but the quality and work they put into this is outstanding seeing this gameplay footage makes me wan't this really bad.

Looks stellar this should not be passed up by anybody that likes fighting games or DC and Mortal Kombat charactors/games/universes.

For some reason I had the notion this looked bad from past content released but it looks stunning.
