well, if Capcom considers a time exclusive to 360 a "Major RE5 Reveal at E3" Capcom is stupid. It is definitely something else. I'll go with a release date.

Sony played very dirty during the format war... if RE 5 does go time exclusive, hands down MS. Too many Sony fans on this site, i have both systems and i prefer MS becuase its an american product. I'm only going to say this once since i'm allowed to post. If you sony fans think RFOM 2 will outsell/better then Gears of war 2, then all you sony fans need to wake up and smell the coffee. GOW 2 will outsell RFOM 6/1 if not more but only time will tell. And i'm sick of you sony fans stating Sony has better line up on games, GET OUT. There about equal. I'll say sony would have better line up if FF 13 or God of war 3 was released this year but thats not happening.

You know why everyone hates microsoft (except the loyal x-fans)??...its because theyre playing dirty and using monopoly money they squeeze out of each and everyone of us (who isnt on a MS operating system, show of hands?) and using this dosh to gimp and handicap the games industry. Instead of coming up with their own games (like they did with xbox1, and failed miserably), they re buying up the games which were natively born on the other system (gta, dmc etc). thats bad from two perspectives...the consumer is either forced to buy an underpowered and unreliable machine , or he must endure the plethora of disappointments regarding 3rd party software on his ps3. im sick and tired of gimped multiplats, or delays just because a ms blank cheque is involved (and dont give me that bullsh!t rant that both systems are equal...theyre not - look at mgs4 and killzone 2). This type of unfairness is analogous to a rich kid having the money to go to an expensive university to get a degree, while a financially challenged but brighter lad doesnt have the money to realize his potential, and is therefore handicapped. Bottom line? Why wont MS let developers choose which system to work on (like shinji mikami did - he said he liked nintendo gc but not the ps2 - fine). I feel this gen is the dirtiest and bloodiest yet, since the genesis-snes days. In the end, MS's focus on money making will kill the games industry by dishing out the same soup of mindless shooters, sports games and any commercially viable software. on the other hand, the japanese games industry, forced to work on MS s machine would be creatively constrained and we would never have another game of mgs4 proportions (it would probably be an open world mgs with commercials, hip hop music, big guns and justin timberlake as raiden). its going to be mcdonalds all over again..... nuff said.

I really doubt the timed exclusivity rumor. That would be going too far.

If this is true, then Microsoft better watch it's back, because they're basically setting the tone for how the battle is gonna be fought from now on.

There are too many sony fans here... i've been reading everyone comments and its hard to argue with fanboy. I'm a fan of MS and i know i am, but that hasnt stopped me from getting the ps3 when it first came out for 600. Its fair for someone to spend 600 bucks without AAA games when sony was really focused with format war. Yeah ok, spin all you want FUNKYSOLO, there no point of aruging when your one sided. SONY IS DIRTY but fanboys cant see the dirtyness only because your looking for dirt focused on compitition.

if RE5 will be timed exclusive for 360 then that is really good news for 360 owners but MS themselves i doubt if they will benefit a lot from that.

I am tired of MS buying timed exclusives. Let me put this out there first. I am a sony fan, but I also support gaming which clearly ms doesn't. Resident evil 1-4 came out on what? oh yeah a Playstation. What is the point of buying a timed exclusive if half the people on your system have never played it. The Tales series came out on what? oh thats right PLAYSTATION!?!? It is going to bomb on your system MS. Why do that to such a good series. Don't get me started on star ocean.
!Point here! Microsoft is killing gaming by making timed exclusives. GAMERS who have followed the games through the systems are getting screwed. What if sony bought a 1 year timed exclusive on gears 2? Wouldn't be nice would it. I wouldn't support something like that because that is just wrong. But all of you 360's !gamers! aren't seeing it this way with all of your gloating it is easy to tell. This is a real problem that needs to be corrected.

I think the "REVEAL" means something more than just showing the game in playable form for the 1st time, man. It think it means more like exclusive content for 1 system or an exclusive to one system or maybe even 1 story add on for the PSN and 1 story add on for the xbox 360.

Different content for downloadable space is what I am banking on, myself. Then again, I don't know anything. ha??
