It's Official: 1 Million Copies of Gear of War Sold

Microsoft's PR gang sends along word that Gears of War has crossed the one million unit mark worldwide, three weeks after its U.S. release.

Other facts:

850,000 players logged by Xbox Live
10 million gameplay sessions
7 million achievement points unlocked
Xbox Live Gold subcriptions up by 50%

1million in 3 weeks is fantastic. I expect it to sell atleast another 250,000 in the next 2 weeks and hopefully it'll sell around 1.5million within 2 months of its release :)

2 - uhm, just a small correction.....

It actually sold 1 million in less than 2 weeks.....this was the first news I read about GOW sales and I didn't really pay attention to the fact that GOW released on Nov 7th and this news came out on the 21st. There are other articles reporting the same news only they correctly state the 2 weeks timeframe.
